Another good day today dry and not too cold, busy with the usual chores. Making good progress on the spring clear up. Dentist appointment tomorrow so a bit of a day off, applied to the bank for a loan to cover the cost.
Have a great evening all up!

Very very windy last night and still gusty this morning although 9 degrees.  Good luck at the dentist GH and if it's like this in Bridlington too keep a hold of Tag Boaby - don't want him to get blown away

Dry and fairly bright but there's still a brisk wind blowing. Milder at 11°c but it will be a surprise if we don't get some rain. Hope your visit to the dentist is not too painful GH, on your wallet that is  snigger

Oddly enough it is!! Luckily though the dentist is not Chinese.
Overcast and no wind, trying to fix a leaky waste pipe at the moment, not a favourite job and of course it is fatal to say "That will only take five minutes", three hours later.....
Stay well all in the nasty weather up country.

No wind, no rain and a balmy 10 degrees this morning.  Supposed to stay overcast but no rain forecast - we shall see.

Have a good day folks.

A lovely bright and dry start this morning. It’s days like this we should be away but appointment’s are holding us back. Hopefully it won’t be long before we can be on our travels again.

The sky looks quite threatening but, as Dave said, rain is not forecast until later this evening. 9°c today but colder and wetter stuff arriving tomorrow. Out for a coffee with my big brother, in an hour we will sort out all the sporting issues, political problems, big news stories and discuss which supermarket has the best bargains  hugegrins

Cooler and cloudier today than yesterday. Good enough for day 2 of the 4 day polishing process.
Could, actually be done in 1 day but too boring a job to keep me amused for that long! Still the end result is worth it...
Rain tomorrow...

You'll have muscles like Popeye at the end of all that Ian, good to see someone doing the job properly.

Had a call from a friend who owns a Burstner yesterday "I know you clean your own van but I found a great place where I got the van cleaned and it was only £40. Three Romanians run it, got on the roof and pressured washed it then soaped it all and even leathered the sides, looks great now. Do you want their number?" Offer politely declined. I'd rather stick wasps up my butt than have three Romanians on the roof of my van with a pressure washer thanks.

Another dry and still morning, 10 degrees supposedly becoming sunny and up to 12 later. Badly need some rain down here, reservoirs are still only just over 45% full and should be nearer 100% by now. If you are coming down in the summer best bring plenty of water with you.

I had to wash the Rienza after our trip to Derbyshire. The weather just held off long enough for a day and I managed a full wash but I certainly suffered for the next few days. The thought of polishing it makes me ache before I start.
The local guy that pressure washes wheelie bins did offer to pressure wash the car and the motorhome for a fiver but I have seen how he washes bins so that’s a no.

Morning all, 6°c and dry after overnight rain. Wind seems to have dropped a bit too although there is still a fair cloud cover. Boaby talking about not working too hard reminded me of one of my ex-colleagues.

When asked by a guy in the street how many folk worked in our office building, he said "oh, about half of them"  biggrin

Like Tony, bit cooler this morning at 6 degrees but a bit dull and drizzly here. The phrase 'work too hard' is rarely used when referring to me.  Quality over quantity is what I always say (the bosses might disagree though  smile! )

April showers this morning, feels a lot colder today at 8 degrees. Hoping to get some grass cutting done later but for now it is tidying all the mess I have left in the garages and going back to fixing the leaky drain pipe on the washroom sink.

Cold but rain has now stopped, due for a frost tonight, WXL has been refilled with water as we are using it for various activities at present so hooked up to ehu and oil heater now on to prevent dump valve tripping. Not cold enough to worry about tank blankets

Have a good day whatever your plans

No point heading out in the rain earlier, had a good long walk with Tag after 8 a.m and back in for spray, porridge went down nicely with lots of truck drivers tea. ( two shots of Redex instead of suger.
Have a good day, be careful out there. Nice one Tony, had a wee chuckle

Rain here today as forecast, better but colder tomorrow allegedly
A change from 2 days of polishing, only the cab left now and it's easy.
Thinking of painting the external plastics, which we are all always on the lookout for chemicals to make them black again. Logic says the rest of the van is the same colour it came out of the factory in so paint should work for the plastics??

Re Tony

Once got shown round Qinetic at Farnborough by a client we knew well. Never seen so many cars parked anywhere. Boss asked "how many people work here?" Well client replied, that depends whether I'm on holiday or not...if I am there's one if I'm not then there's two!!! hugegrins
