Fog cleared during the night allowing a crispy frost to come in around 5 am, no ice ,so ideal for a wee donder with Tag down the prom and back.
Have a nice day.

Another crisp morning, 2degrees but quite pleasant out as no wind. Porridge for breakfast (just one slice).

Sunshine on Leith went well last night. Good to have an audience responding to action on stage. Only another five performances to go.

Have a good day

Aye, porridge ding for me too.

It's apparently 8°c here just now but you could have fooled me, it feels much colder. Dry srart but raining now and an unsettled day ahead with stronger winds.

Take care all

A bright and slightly frosty start here. Once management has surfaced porridge is looking promising this morning. I am not fused how it made but she has her preference so I let her get on with it.
Daughter has said she is coming round today so my workshop time will be limited. It’s strange that management has been quiet about traveling until I get stuck in with a workshop project. No matter it’s heading to March so a spring trip would be nice.

6° (feels like 3 ) ,  rising to 11, dull with pretty good chance of rain.
Visitors leave this morning so house will return to normal.  Been good to see sister and b.i.l , last saw them September down their way while we were on a rally but this was their first time here in over 3 years.

Usual High Pressure morning fog here again today. 3c at 8, will, allegedly be 12c at noon. very little wind, but the near record atmospheric pressure is dropping now, still 1035 though.

Atmospheric pic from Wroxham BVR stn yesterday as Blickling Hall pulled away from the turntable. That amount of steam from its cylinder drains would normally be hardly visible....was still foggy on the way home, improved with altitude as we approached N Walsham on way back...

Thats my plans for the day scuppered. When I got back from a nice walk with muttly daughter had sent me a text. Apparently we are going to her place for lunch collecting son on route. I had best not go in the workshop now. I am under orders to stay clean. This sounds like Wesley Pegden from Last of the Summer Wine.

Management isnt far off Thora Hird in a lot of ways but my Grandma was almost identical including the way she spoke to my Grandfather. She was a true north west mill girl that took no prisoners.
It as just warm enough to have lunch with the dinning room doors open. Daughters garden is very sheltered.
I must be going deaf or daft because I discovered during lunch that our son is coming for brunch tomorrow. Management seems to organise these things and I darnt say she never told me. Son is only off work for two days and has managed a free feed on both days. tap_fingers

Managed to get the chairs out in the garden yesterday afternoon, really warm in the sun. This afternoon it is sunny again but had to go to Pensilva on Bodmin Moor this morning and the weather was completely different, thick fog, rain and thoroughly bleak. Must be lovely when the sun shines but van looks like it has been on a car rally now.
Run did it good though if not Lady G,s nerves squeezing round some of those lanes.
Have a great day all👍

Nondescript sort of morning, 7degrees windless and cloudy.

Full House last night for Sunshine on Leith. Good atmosphere which helps keep energy levels up. Four more to go now.

Have a good day

Dry start and 6°c here too, some heavy rain and strong winds on the way for later today and into tomorrow. Shopping day so we might get it done before the nasty stuff arrives.

Take it easy

A few spots of rain this morning but not enough to stop outside activities, supposed to brighten up later.
Another day of working to clear away the winter grime!

Woken up by strong winds battering against house. Forecast to continue until lunchtime so will just keep my head down and stay indoors this morning. Suspect a few country roads locally will be blocked with fallen branches etc.

Appantly there were 6 empty seats in audience last night for Sunshine on Leith, not bad for a 500 seat theatre, place was absolutely rocking towards end of evening.  Told there are only 6 seats left across the last three performances.

Some of the Nicola Sturgeon jokes in tge show have had to be modified, but all were well received and got applause as well as laughter, not bad for a staunch SNP  area

Overnight rain has passed so dry now and 9°c. Already blustery, the clouds are moving swiftly across the sky. We're not getting the worst of Otto's winds but 60 to 70mph gusts expected with the associated rain.

Stay safe if you're in the eye of the storm.

Strong winds overnight and still now  ,fence panels ratting and bins blowing over. 12 ° already this morning only rising to 13, fair chance of rain.

Quite calm and no wind down in the far SW, overcast with a few spots of rain much as yesterday. Back to the pressure washing, I bought a new petrol pressure washer (Wilks TX750i) last year, quick and powerful but an absolute pig to start, tried changing the fuel and oil, cleaned the filters and plug but still it doesn't want to play. It is probably something simple but not sure what to do next, it has been threatened with ebay but makes no difference.

Take care and have a great day all allthumbz

Assuming you have a spark, seen on the plug when removed and touching the engine.....
Squirt some new, fresh petrol into the plug hole, just a teaspoon full or so. Now with the plug still out, pull the starter cord fully, once. Replace plug asap, try for a start.
If that works, then I'd gamble on stale fuel, still in carb...
