Re: Weather
A bright but still chilly day here. Another step towards our trip done this morning by getting muttlies dinners. It was a beneficial shop because Pets at Home gave us two packets of treats free. It’s a promotion for Butchers tinned dinners.
Whilst we were out we did a top up shop including some hot cross buns. It was tempting to stock up on Easter eggs but management has ordered personalized Thorntons eggs as per her late fathers tradition. I did try and sneak in a cream egg but I couldn’t find them until we had passed the checkout.

Sitting at seafront at Stonehaven. 7 degrees with bracing breeze coming off sea. Van has worked fine all day with Truma doing what it should.
No other vans parked on seafront, first time I have seen this. CMC looks busy but not full

Re: Weather
Been a nice dry day down here, managed a trip out in the van for a few hours and coffee by the waves. Looks positive weather wise for the next few days so may be able to start some painting outside.
Hope you get the heating issues sorted Bb.
Will check those out Ian, looking for something to do for a week or so at end of April, if it is good weather wise will take the van somewhere reasonably local. Crazy thing is I can fly to Spain or Portugal from my local airport for pennies but Hotac is costing so much.
Have a great evening all

Re: Weather
Not too bad this morning. 3 Degrees and dry with the forecast being sunny for most of the morning. Shouldn't be too bad waiting for the train this morning.
Have a good day folks.

Re: Weather
Clear blue sky and bright sunshine this morning but only sitting at 3°c. Forecast is for it to get warmer but cloudy later, main thing is it will stay dry. Rest of the week looks a bit unsettled though.
Good day for doing some things, just got to work out which things to do
Take it easy

Re: Weather
7 degrees, blue sky, sunshine and no wind. Van parked back on drive fridge and fresh food emptied but clothes etc left as might go away again this weekend. Van snow foamed and rinsed down. Will put on ehu with oil heater on later as freezing temperature forecast tonight.

Nice sunny day in Whitby, very busy as the schools are of, took a trailer load of decking timber up there as my neighbours wee car would have taken a few trips.
Nice walk with Tag along the coastal path to the Abbey, very windy on the cliff tops.
Have a nice evening.

Re: Weather
Good morning folks,
A wee bitty warmer than yesterday, 4 degrees at the minute with a light frost on the cars but still dry. Supposed to brighten up later and get up to the low double figures.
Got a shock yesterday - train was 5 minutes early getting into the station, but it then sat for 5 minutes with the doors open letting any heat which had built up escape

Morning all
Nice sunny start, 7 degrees and forecast is good. Need to get motivated and start the summer jobs outside, lots of maintenance jobs to do not to mention a van to deep clean but with age it all seems to take longer than usual and is harder to get going! Sure I am not alone in that.
Have a good day at work Dave, take it easy out there and stay safe and well.

This being the start of spring we had, admittedly thin, ice on the pond this morning, 0c at 0730, but beautiful blue sky and sunny.

Re: Weather
Still 4°c, no frost and there's a blanket of light cloud covering the sky. Might get some light rain later. Bit fortunate this morning, my feet went away from me when I hit a wet patch on the bathroom tiles. Ended up straight on my back Got a bit of a sore neck but nothing broken (especially my wife's decorative items ) thank goodness. Sometimes this ageing lark is not funny.

Re: Weather
A lovely bright day and warm enough to be in the workshop with the door open this afternoon. Management put washing on the line unfortunately this meant I had to duck under it to get back in the house. It only needed a gap we’re the path is.
Once I got in the kitchen management said “ I hope you didn’t touch the washing with you’re oily hands”. Another reminder of Wesley Pegden.

Quite right, Tony, you take it easy, my ribs are still a bit tender and that's after a couple of weeks.

Mizzle this morning, quite mild and the dawn chorus was really loud, hoping to get the car washed later. Second realtor coming round this afternoon to value Hog Castle, hard thing is going to be finding anything smaller to replace it. First guy wanted 1.95% plus vat, no wonder he was driving a new Tesla.
Have a great day all
