First of all thank you for letting join this forum
Please can anyone inform me if the aircon unit on the new 2022 Bourton incorporates a heater element or is it only a 240v air con unit.

The Truma Air Con can be used as a heater (when connected to a 240V supply). I asked Truma if it can be used if the heater is not working. For instance, if you have no gas, the Truma boiler will not work on 12 or 240v supply! The answer was:-

"Yes you should be able to use the heating on the aircon, if it’s a Comfort, please either use the remote control, or turn the CP Plus to ACC. Please note the aircon will only heat if it’s above 6 degrees outside"

So, if it's really cold outside and you have no gas, you have no heating!

I now carry a small fan heater as a back up.
