Garmin bc30 camera replacement

I have posted this in the Technical Forum but no response so far.

My 2018 Nuevo came with the Garmin Camper 780 (Avtex Tourer Two) which has a wireless reversing camera set up. As reported elswhere the camera is showing a very foggy picture due to the camera lens deteriorating. I have tried cleaning & polishing the lens but there's no improvement. I don't want to buy another BC30 camera as the fogging problem seems quite common after a few years. It seems the BC40 camer would work with my satnav but it looks as though it fits to a number plate. And would it also fog up in a short time.

Alternatively can anyone recommend another make of camera that could be wired into the Garmin wireless set up so it works with my sat nav?

I also noticed the BC40 but I'm not sure how to fit to back of my van or if its compatible with my Camper 660.

Did you try the BC40?
