Reversing Camera Replacement Empty Reversing Camera Replacement

Post by gpilky Wed Aug 25, 2021 4:42 pm

Hi all,

A project on the horizon is to replace the 'stock' reversing camera with a dual system with a rear view. I'm comfortable with the mechanics of this, but I am aware that I might need to run another cable from the front to the back, and that this may not be straightforward.

I was wondering if anyone with a Broadway EB had already done this, and had any experiences they could share, particularly where the cabling runs.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

I don't know the layout of the Broadway but is following the existing cabling route an option?

Yes - this would be the plan. I'm just trying to find out where the existing cabling goes so I can assess how easy it is (or not). I think I have an idea but without pulling bits off the van I can't be sure, so before I dismantle everything I thought I'd see if anyone has done this or knows where it goes.
