I have just renewed our yearly forum hosting & domain, in recent years our donations have declined considerably & we no longer have the generosity once showed by certain members that are no longer with us, which means I myself have to mainly meet these costs.

I thank those of you who have donated recently, but having said this, in order for the site to continue in its present form I need more assistance to help cover these costs in future. So if you can help, then all donations are gratefully appreciated.

If you do donate help us further by selecting ‘Pay Friend’ to avoid the heavy PayPal fees being taken from what we actually receive.

Thank You

I'm having problems with Paypal Ed, any other way to donate?

Ed, there seems to be quite a few of us that have either been having trouble with Paypal, or are not prepared to use it.  We would all, I am sure want to pay and be a 'forum supporter'.

I appreciate that we have been round this buoy already, but would you please reconsider making an alternative form of payment available?

Many thanks,
Rocky

Trying to make a PP donation but cannot see anything about a "friend" option.
Have I got that right?

Is there a 'gift' option?

I found it fairly straighforward once I clicked the link - once you commit to pay it gives you the Family/Friends option

Once again for those wishing to donate and requesting alternative ways to donate either because of having problems with, or simply do not wish to use PayPal. As stated previously this is our only option for receiving payments as it simplifies things for us and seems to work for most members without issue, sorry.

Thank you to everyone who’s donated over recent weeks it’s been a great help in covering our costs and greatly appreciated.

If your member status has not been updated to show you are a ‘Forum Supporter’ then please message me with your details so I can action this at my earliest opportunity.

Best Regards

Ed

Only just noticed this thread, clicked the family & friends bit on P/P.
Donation duly sent.
I also would pay almost anything to avoid those boring, irritating & intrusive adverts!

I never get adverts, try changing your settings in Google or whoever you use. It might do the trick.

Morning.  Just made a donation but forgot to add our username, BerniMarg, when paying through the family and friends option.  Let me know if you don't receive a payment from Muras.

Cheers, Neil and Tina

Hi All

Several of you have sent donations without providing your ‘Forum Username’ Regrettably without this info I’m unable to update your account to show your donation status, so if you’ve donated and not had your account updated (please let me know by sending me a message or leave a reply here) so I can action this.

Once again, thanks for the support shown by members that have kindly donated, it’s greatly appreciated.

Ed (Admin)

Thanks for all you do. Happy to make a donation; used the link sent in reply to Roger’s post but paypal needs an email address of the recipient. Which address should I use?

The link is in the quote in the first post on this page and from memory I think it’s the email address of the sender (you) that’s needed. If you use the same email address you used to register on ASOF, everything will correspond.
