Donated but I sent it from 'gasgas' and not 'gassygassy'. I get mixed up. Wifey (I forget her name) is reserving a Parker Knoll chair with plastic covers at the local hostelry for the bewildered.

Many thanks Ed, donation sent. I think this Forum is essential for AS owners, I have enjoyed the help of contributors when I needed it. We learn a great deal just by reading about others experiences. Very grateful for your work in making it happen.

Forum Donations & Running Costs - Page 2 Empty Donations

Post by Ready to go Fri Feb 09, 2024 2:30 pm

I think I speak for many when I say that everyone who looks at the forum finds it of great value.  It is great to have a way of joining the community and a place where someone can get motorhome help when they are at their wits end!

I am keen to make a donation but can I be a little cheeky and ask how much you will need to raise through donations and what you see as a typical donation value?

Admin wrote:Hi All

I have just renewed our yearly forum hosting & domain, in recent years our donations have declined considerably & we no longer have the generosity once showed by certain members that are no longer with us, which means I myself have to mainly meet these costs.

I thank those of you who have donated recently, but having said this, in order for the site to continue in its present form I need more assistance to help cover these costs in future. So if you can help, then all donations are gratefully appreciated.

If you do donate help us further by selecting ‘Pay Friend’ to avoid the heavy PayPal fees being taken from what we actually receive.

Thank You

Sorry But I too can't use paypal. Can you let me know what to do next?

Any donations are completely voluntary, the amount members donate is entirely up to them, every little helps.

If anyone has donated but not had their account status updated to donator please send me a PM. Sometimes it’s a little difficult tying the donation to an account due to using a different email to that registered to your forum account or not advising of your forum username when making payment, so if I’ve overlooked anyone just let me know.

Thanks everyone who’s donated for your support.

Regards

Ed (Admin).
