Rain, rain, rain and yet another weather warning. Thinking about searching online for plans and instructions on how to build an ark

It's another sunny start here, same as yesterday.  Some rain last night and weather warnings for heavy rain today but certainly doesn't look like it at the moment.

Sunshine and showers down here, 12 degrees but the wind is building so expecting some disruption later on. Tidy up the garage day I think, every time I start I intend to be ruthless in throwing out but end up storing 90% junk. Must be a man thing...

It was MoT time for the van (passed ) this morning, I got well and truly soaked on my way home from the test centre. The rain cleared up around lunchtime but it's back on again as heavy as ever. Lots of surface water already so it should be fun and games tomorrow.

Good news Tony, great feeling to get the test for another year, wee car passed a few weeks ago, fire fly not due to next year.
Winds clearing the leaves of the trees, stayed dry so far. Heavy grey clouds looming in from the west.

Glad to see the MOT pass.
Quite a bit of sun today which has been great, wind has dropped but something is stirring as it looks very sketchy out to the west.
Hold on to your hats it's coming.

The sunshine continued all morning but the wind increased as the day went on, now it's just started to chuck it down.

Really heavy showers. Decided it's time to change front tyres on car, although not down to twi. Michelin cross climates fitted (replacing the original Michelin Energy Saver which had done 21,000). Now happier to face the winter.
Cleared drains and secured bits and bobs. Hard hats on! Hope everyone gets through without damage.

It’s gusting at 60mph now and building. Ferry sailings have stopped and other transport is disrupted. Hold on tight!

Blue Islands have ferried four aeroplanes from Guernsey to Liverpool, must think it is going to be serious in the Channel Islands, saw 100mph winds expected off the NW coast of France. On the bright side not many boats will be sneaking across!

Stopped raining , no wind to talk of, wind only 25kmh forecast through the night.

Heavy overnight rain,lots of surface rain water and muddy field run off onto the roads, windy,but not gale force, not to cold.
Short walk with Tag avoiding the puddles and mud.

Ditto here  in E Anglia, bit further south. Heavy rain at present, windy but nothing exceptional.
Thursday is market day here, for first time in years not going today too wet!

Hope those in south and south west are OK...

3degrees and  very still this morning, car windscreen iced over when I put the bin out this morning, weather warning for rain later lasting into Saturday.

It’s been a very rough night and still blowing now but I think things are worse further east along the coast and in the CI. A brief power cut and a flying tree branch hitting the house seem to be the extent of it for us so far.

Rain for last few hours, wind no more than normal and highest expected only 35kph. Not exactly a storm - yet. Maybe worse to come.

It rained hard during the night but no sign of the predicted storm yet. As Paul said maybe more to come later.
Muttly was still in bed when I went down to make breakfast. Maybe the rain kept him awake during the night. It’s more likely he’s just a lazy old mutt.

Plenty of rain last night but the wind speed was not exceptional. Dry, bright and a watery sun shining. We nay get an occasional shower on our shopping trip. Hope those in the path of the storm are safe and well.

Much as Tinwheeler just a couple of branches down and loads of leaves.Rained hard but no issues. Calming down now and no rain but power has just gone off. If it is not back on coffee in the van.

No wind or rain - just cold.  3 degrees and damp here.  Might rain later.  Got a couple of things to do tomorrow so shopping night tonight.

Couple of bright periods earlier,followed by heavy downpours,carnt really get out for a good walk with Tag until the weather improves.

Dry night, really choppy seas down on the harbour earlier,winds building up strong from the north west, no where as bad as other parts of the UK. Good walk with Tag ,nice to get a dry few hours ,have a nice day,stay warm and dry,morning Dave,if your at home working.
