Drizzle turned to rain about 7 this morning and hasn't stopped all day.  Nice weather for ducks.

Wet, wet, wet. Drain on roof between extension and garage got blocked so heavy rain yesterday backed up and overflowed into one corner of garage, had to use Vax machine to remove over 3 litres of water, once rain stops will need to get up on extension roof with bucket and small trowel to clear drain Chanel. My fault for not checking it in the summer.

Miserable night, thick sea fret/har earlier , still managed a wee donder with Tag, sun out now more grey clouds heading our way.

First dry night for a while, sunshine this morning,  8° rising to 9, no rain expected today but rather windy.

It was a cold wind on our morning ramble and it’s stayed grey all morning. After the drama with leaks yesterday I can retire to the workshop whilst the bathroom floor dries a bit.
Management has started making the mincemeat for Christmas. Last year she made the normal batch forgetting there’s only us two here. We were eating mince pies until Easter so she has halved the brew this time. I don’t know what goes in it but it’s got more taste in it than shop bought mincemeat.

Been raining here all day and not got any warmer than 7 degrees.  Luckily no wind.

Not looking forward to getting back to all that wet and cold weather at home next week. I'll not tell you about the weather here, you've suffered enough

Morning Boaby,

Same as the last couple of days, cold and damp although it's not raining....yet.  5 degrees and not going to warm up much but it's supposed to stay dry(ish) until around 7 tonight.

Dry here at moment,  high chance of rain from 6pm. Temp only 3° right now rising to 8.

3 degrees and dry. Supposed to have two overnight stopovers at Borough bridge CCC site next week and week after for our London trip. Phone call from CCC as site flooded and they are cancelling all bookings till end of December. Extra 15 minutes drive gets us to Knaresborough CMC so all sorted.

Enjoy the warmth those in warmer climes.

Not as cold here today but overcast. I really wanted to get the bath panel back on today but the floor is still wet so I had a tidy up and removed the old silicone sealer.
We had planned to go out for breakfast and do some food shopping but a parcel was due.We waited until three and did the shopping. When we got back I received a text saying the parcel is coming tomorrow.
It will be a short walk tonight because it’s started drizzling now.

Frost again this morning. Managed to get out to clear drain on garage roof yesterday, removed about a cupful of silt that was trapped by a couple of leaves and twigs blocking the drain opening. Should be fine for rest of winter now.

Morning folks.

5 degrees and overcast here but at least the rain has stopped.  Van now drained and on EHU to keep the batteries topped up. Will still be taking it the occasional run when the weather is nicer to keep the running gear working order but the season is now officially over for us..
