Off home today. Rained heavily until early hours so grass is going to be sodden, just hope we can get off without ploughing it up, have got mats under front wheels.

Good luck with that Paul and the run home. We had the forecast rain around lunchtime yesterday but it was sunny enough to get a washing out and dried. Don't think we will be that lucky today, much cooler with a high chance of rain later. My big job today is bringing the wheelybin back in.

Morning Boaby, 10 degrees and slight drizzle here this morning.  Off down the borders later on and the forecast is for much of the same the whole weekend so waterproofs are packed.

Lovely bright morning with a slightly chilly breeze. Muttly was in a sulk on his walk. How did he work out it was kennels day. Once we got to the kennels he trotted off with the lady. They have kept a nice kennel in the sun for him so he will be doing plenty of sleeping.
Just waiting for son to appear and then we will be ready for moving wedding stuff to the venue. We are using the wardrobe in the van to transport managements posh frock and shirts for the groom and best man.

Overnight showers, mild with a heavy cloud cover, dry enough to get Tag out for a good walk,porridge again for breakfast.

It felt stuffy last night even with the fan on in the bedroom. I was wide awake at four so I went down and sat out on the decking to clear my head.
Management left at half six to collect the bridesmaids leaving me to have my breakfast until I am collected by the groom. We are being taken to the venue in a VW bus. I offer to use the Rienza but there will be six of so that wouldn’t work.
It’s overcast but less stuffy now and it looks like it will stay dry for most of the day.

Steady rain a d 9 degrees here, rain woke me up at 2.30am and couldn't get back to sleep for ages. Some interesting programs on BBC World service radio in wee small hours.

Hope the day goes well Dave. Rain started yesterday afternoon and kept going right through the night. Seems to have stopped now but it's pretty damp and cool outside.

Very warm here today but a strange sky and we can’t see Caernarfon or Snowdonia across the Straits, might get a sea fret later??

Turned out to be quite a decent dry day yesterday, bit of sun but it was kept cool by a brisk northerly wind. Dull and cloudy today with rain expected before lunchtime.

Moved from fabulous Zwolle to Sneek in v heavy rain this morning. 2nd rain since arriving in Holland 2 weeks ago.
Forecast to stop 1500 or so, so then we may see this historic town

It turned into a lovely sunny day with a slight breeze yesterday. After the ceremony we were sat in a courtyard before we had the meal. I had to sit in the shade because I was falling asleep. By half twelve last night I was absolutely knackered and deaf from the dance music. It didn’t matter though because it was my little girls special day.
Cloudy with a gentle breeze today but I only have to pick up muttly this afternoon so I can have the rest of the day to get my self back in line.
The Rienza is stacked full of the decorations and it will stay that way until tomorrow when we can get into daughters garage. I am not sure how meany glass jars have survived the drive home. Lincolnshire roads and Transit back springs don’t help.

Well, the sky's brightened a bit but it’s still raining.

The rain arrived as predicted, it's the kind our friends used to joke about, "yon fine rain". You know the stuff, if you are out it doesn’t feel very heavy but you end up soaked to the skin in no time flat

Cold down the borders but at least it was dry.  Now back to cold and rain.  The boss has decided it's time the heating gets switched on again (so we are expecting a heatwave in a couple of days  )

Morning folks, 14 degrees and wet this morning, not supposed to get any better later on either.  Just the sort of weather for going to work on a Monday morning after a weekend away.

13 degrees and been raining all night, not due to ease off until lunchtime. Got to go out this morning for flu and covid vaccines. Vaccination centre is about 2 miles away so will take the car.

Quarter mile from house to main road is 30mpb
200yds towards town is 40mph
500yds past front of house is 30 mph
200 yds 20mph past primary school
400yds oto High St 30mph, traffic lights in middle of this stretch
800yds 20mph through centre of town
Final short stretch 30mph Including more traffic lights

Makes journeys in Wales look simple 

A damp start today making the garden smell fresh with a distant rumble of thunder in the night. Muttly will not be happy if it means getting wet on his walk.

Very wet overnight but seems to be drying up a bit. Still dull though with little change expected. Think I might go back to bed
