Dry raw northerly wind coming in of the sea, brisk walk down the promanard with Tag,well away from any water. Looks rough out to sea.
Keep warm ,have a nice day, no more news yet ,re dog sickness.

Clear sky with a bright moon sinking in the west, cars are covered in frost as is the grass. Temperature is pretty reasonable at 9°c but I suspect it feels much colder in the brisk northerly wind. Shopping day, big task is to not forget to buy all the things we need. Don't hold out much hope  think_smiley_46

Affected lots of beaches around UK coast, plenty of news stories in press around the country, no explanation, even vets are saying it could be just a seasonal thing, basically they have no idea.

9 degrees down here too, partly cloudy but dry so far. Time to get the leaf blower out and tidy up around the yard, grass could do with a cut too but that can wait a bit.

Over resent years our shores have been covered with thousands of dead Lobsters, craps and starfish, locally reported and then forgotten. Locals blame discharge from ships.   shrugg   ,  some local dogs came down very sick very quickly ,neighbour, who's dog died recently,is waiting  a report from the vet.
Chilly North Sea wind,no sun, full cloud cover.

Bit cooler this morning at 9°c but dry and no frost. Watching the news about the untreated waste discharges into rivers, not very nice  happyno Now, where's my porridge  snigger

My garden fox has morphed into a pair of foxes, the male was keen to "play" but I think the female had a headache  biggrin We also have one less pigeon, the female fox returned later in the evening and "acquired" one. It took it down to the bottom of the garden an now we have loads of feathers to clear up  shrugg

Out for the early shop lovely sunrise and now sparkling blue skies. Frost last night so about to move the van to a different part of the parking area where it will get more sun. Put the screen cover on for the first time last night.
Now playing guess where the plane is going on flightradar24 we are under the path from Europe to USA and Canada, loads of flights from Paris passing overhead. Last one over was Kuwait to New York. Travel must be getting back to normal.
Have a great day all😎

A lovely bright but frosty start today. I am leaving our morning walk a bit later so the frost has gone from the paths.
We are going down the coast tomorrow to give the Rienza a run before it’s MOT on Monday. From the weather forecast the wind should be from the west so it won’t be as cold hopefully. We have some were to retest and thaw out even if it is cold. cold

Grey and overcast but much milder again, 7 degrees so no sign of frost last night. Giving the van a thorough clean outside today, it is pretty good but mainly where the winter algae has attacked the silicone and around the windows etc.
You will probably be getting quite a lot of traffic coming from Frankfurt heading across the pond Boaby, always fun to check what is passing overhead. Just hope it isn't going to be Russian any time soon so_sad
Have a great day all and good luck with the MOT Dave. allthumbz

Still pretty dark outside but it's clear and dry with no frost. Currently 11°c so January continues to be very mild. Think it's about time for me to come out of hibernation and shake off he winter blues   happyyes

Plastic gloves on and did the decent thing.... Neanderthals.

It’s been overcast and grey all day but the breeze was from the south so our walk along the sea wall at Chapel wasnt  too cold. I know it was a Sunday but I was surprised how meany walkers and dogs were out.
We manage to get into the car park at the observatory but the price for parking was a bit steep. It’s £3 a day for cars but £8  for motorhomes. No matter it was worth it for the walk.
