Have you got yer shorts on Ricky,     hugegrins    , brief sunny breaks in between sleet showers, ice melting on the roads since I emptied a wheel borrow load of road grit on it, funny how it's always the older generation are out clearing the snow while the youngsters stay inside on furlough.

Despite not rising above 0 deg the heat in the ground really shows on the paving around the house. All have melted off the snow and some are even dry.

The promised sunny day for Wednesday from the forecast last night has now been cancelled so_sad

Cold dry night with some snow flurries,SAR Helo out at 4 this morning, didn't have any search lights on ,must have been on other searching assets.
Seemed to be searching the north of town, not on the coast where they usually are, hope they find what there looking for.
Boaby stay warm, Jab day. up!

Not much more snow this morning, still and fresh with blue sky for first time since last week, currently -4C.

Need to think about clearing drive again before it freezes too hard.

We live about 1 mile from A90, from late afternoon until late evening yesterday Southbound was backed up past Forfar from Dundee over 10 miles away due to lorries stuck on two hills leading to Kingsway in Dundee. All seems well this morning.

Patchy cloud here, very cold, spent many an hour at the snow gates above Calvine on the old A9 , BB

Very cold easterly wind, snow clearing, piles of solid ice by the side of the road, watched a wee Fiat reverse into a pile and crumpled her rear bumper .
Had the jab, all fine ,roll on number two.

As it was a bright but chilly day here we decided to go for a local walk. It was a lazy wind that went straight through you but dressed to suit it wasn’t too bad. As we got near to home the snow really came down in flurries.
It was a nice walk but my fingers were quite cold and stiff by the time we got back. I was wearing a pair of  thinsulate  wooly gloves I found in the Rienza. I think I will swap them for my other gloves before we venture out again. Normally I wear thinsulate gloves and have warm fingers.
Hot chocky this afternoon and home done pizza for tea.

A lovely but freezing day here. Black ice caught Chris out walking while I was at Dentist. Nothing broken fortunately.

I know times are hard for our cash strapped council workers but there has been no effort made to clear the pavements so it’s surprising more people having gone end over apex on the ice. A&E could do without the extra work.
The guy that used to sweep the streets in our village used to fill his barrow with grit and cleared the pavements when it snowed.
It’s crunchy and frosty on our decking after the last fall of snow. Muttly dosnt like the feel of it. I will sweep it clear tomorow.

Most of the oldies have cleared the front footpaths of snow and ice in front their properties,it's just the younger generation around have who haven't.,same lot that don't wear face masks.
Otherwise a clear dry night, No snow fall ,no wind, just cold.
Good walk with Tag,avoiding the rutted ice and frozen mud.
