Weather

Yes, very misty here too but only at 100m. Guess it will clear but still mild, forecast is dry and cloudy. Bird feeders are busy with all the usual suspects, Coaltits, Bluetits, LTtits, Sparrows and the Fieldfares are congregating in the trees.

Dull, dull dull here. It was dry until I went for the Sunday papers, got hit with big lumps of rain Big pot of Minestrone on the stove for lunch and and afternoon snooze on the cards.

Another grey and yuk day here. If I have a bad night its nice to get up and sit and look at the early morning as things are starting to come alive. This morning its quiet grey and not very appealing. Muttly must have been sleeping on his good ear because I manage to empty the dishwasher before he looked up. Then he was all stiff and cramped up so I helped him out to the garden. He just made it so it was a good job I was up early. 
What to do today on a grey damp day in isolation. Workshop maybe.

Lovely autumnal day here and not too chilly.  It was nice enough to be in the workshop with the door open. 
Between projects I had a good tidy and sweep up. To my surprise I found my long lost favourite pen under the chip tray for the lathe.

It was grey and damp when I got up to take muttly up the garden early this morning and it’s not getting any brighter. I can see it’s going to be a soggy day. 
Typically our son said he would walk round here and get us some shopping from Lidl. He will be a bit soggy by the time he gets home again. Only a week from Sunday and we will be free to do our own shopping with any luck.

Rained all day yesterday and right through the night until this morning. Dry and sunny now but not for long I fear. More rain on the way later and a howler forecast for tomorrow.
