Had to do thaw out the bird bath and bird drinking trays as they were all frozen solid.

Froze hard overnight, car frozen solid, van has small oil heater on so not as bad. Road is heavily rutted with frozen slush from last night. Snowing heavily again now. Temp expected high of +1 today and -5 tonight. Good job we don't need to go out.

No frost, no snow just a couple of sleet showers, when does winter start please?

My van roof looks perfectly clean with four inches of snow on top... Gives minus 7 tonight..
I don't think the solar panel is producing much energy though..

I don’t know how cold it was last night but managements car looked very festive this morning. It was white and sparkling with frost. The ice scraper broke, I have had that since I was in Germany, nothing lasts these days. 
It dosnt seem as cold so far but I will keep the heater on low in the Rienza just to keep the chill off.

Dry, with a hard haw frost,van heater on ( wee one) starlite sky,some Robins out and about.

Light frost early on but a cracking day again, unbroken blue sky, great walking weather so had to be done.
Now have a clear moonlit sky so hoping to lots of stars later

Dry clear night, -2 the noo, no wind so doesn't feel as cold, wildfowl flying south, some Robins singing.

Raining here please send me wildfowl in our direction first year there are none by the river so far normally there are dozens of geese

Heavy rain overnight and it's hovering just above freezing. Pretty grey and dull outside with nothing moving. Think I'll join them

Don't know far the wildfowl are heading south GH.     A few of the farmers around Bempton (RSPB) used to leave their fields in stumble to attract the birds,however the fields are turned over to plant winter crops.

Turned into a stinking, cold, dull day with sleety rain and a brisk wind. The kind of day you don't want your car battery to be flat when you need to go out

Turned to rain now, still feels cold though, i charge up my wee car battery weekly for a 6 hour cycle.

A grey grotty and cold day here followed by rain as it went dark. Yesterday the sparrow squadron and one of the blackbirds were here after I broke the ice on the fountain and bird bath. Today I havnt seen any birdies at all. If they have any sense they will be tucked up out of the cold.

We don't have a driveway so I have to trail a mains lead over the pavement to connect the charger. I stuck it on a high charge rate for a couple of hours and managed to get it started.

Our van and wee car are parked parallel out on the front bloc area Tony, enough for two vehicles, ideal for EHU hook up.

Just got light here, damp and some serious mist with visibility down to about 50m. On the plus side, temperatures have risen to a heady 3°c

My wife was filling the bird feeders up yesterday and the Robin was joined on the fence by a wren to watch her.

Just back from the big city of Truro, place was empty but lots of traffic on the roads. Mild morning even thought about getting the stubbies out, dry and overcast, better get on outside today, some laurel to cut and a few primmies to move so the tree surgeons have a path to our ash tree which has die back. Sadly had to kill the bees in it but the tree was getting dangerous and has to come down so what can you do.

Dense sea mist coming in from the coast, +4 degrees ( heat wave) local garden birds looking for food around the scrubs, I've put some meale worms out for them,trying avoid the Dos from coming in.
