Overnight drizzle has left damp conditions this morning,still warm ,missed the dawn chorus by an hour (sleepy heed)
Grass is baked dry,so could do with abit of light rain.

Mild, muggy and overcast here but not a drop of the promised rain. At 6 am I could smell rain coming but no longer.

Down here in the boonies it is still dry, overcast and quite warm though. This lockdown is no good for the bank balance, just ordered a whole bunch of garage shelving from Tufferman, arriving tomorrow, so probably the right sort of weather to get in the garage and start clearing.... ruthlessly!
( do that and I will say whey the hell did I buy the shelves, nothing left to put on them)
Meanwhile it is still not raining here yet! beachball

Our son was calling for a cup of tea and a chat in the garden this morning. Typical the first time he can be here it rains shrugg

. Due to his shift we have seen him once from his garden gate since lock down.
Hopefully there will be a better day soon.

Here on the Welsh Riviera we had light rain overnight and first thing this morning. No rain at present, but the temperature has really dropped.

Winds whipping of the sea bringing a lot of moisture with it. Just the right amount of rain so it can soak into the earth.
No BBQ today. so_sad

I thought you Oop North lads were hardy beasts!! hugegrins

We had steak with sauteed potatoes and rice salad. Glad I built a shelter over the bbq, but it has only been very light rain here anyway, unfortunately.

I'm from further up north GH, but this is sideways drizzle, soaking everything.
I don't mind a day of from the grill,means I can have a Haggis in a roll.

Tesco have them in stock. We’ve only had them from there once and they were fine. Guess if Tesco have them then other supermarkets as well.

Repeat on yesterday's dawn weather,only the wind has ramped up, rain had held off to allow a nice dog walk.
Best Haggis is from Scottish butchers (imo)Grants have tinned Haggis which is very good and moist.ideal texture for a breakfast roll and a wee goldie.

It's got very cool here (as in cold rather than hip biggrin

Really heavy squally showers all morning, filled up the bird baths anyway.cooled down from 24 two days ago,to 13 degrees cold

I was in our garage which has a steel roof, sounded like gravel hitting the roof, never seen anything like it down here, last time we had hail in June was whilst in Dalwhinnie years ago.
Rained all night until 5.30, cleared for an hour of blue sky,Tag still got soaked in the grass. shrugg

Started raining again at 7a.m
