A big part of me was hoping for gusty winds and lashings of rain this weekend to keep folks at home, especially today when several Lockdown protests in parks are planned.

Lovely morning down here too, was planning a trip to the beach next week taking the car but am having serious doubts now if the place is going to be swarmed with emmets. Think I will just stick to the grounds here, plenty to do!!

I had plans to give the Warwick to wee run out to Filey next week as the weather is turning warm again, however local opposition to day trippers is evident.
Oh well, it's nice in the back garden.

Yep you put a hex on it Boaby! First rain in 2 months as it rained all day/ night yesterday and after a dry start has just started again today! Just after I fitted my new towbar step to allow easier access to the rear. All measured ,  welded up and first coated with zinc primer and now this.....

Don’t complain. We could really do with rain here. Lawns are actually going brown.

Lovely mild sunny day with clear blue skies but breezy. Very warm in the sun out of the wind.

Our water butt is almost empty. We had a short shower last night which hardly put anything into it. Bit dull today but temperature is rising (16 tonight and only dropping to 11 tonight).

Who is cutting grass, our council stopped doing it at lockdown. Still pretty damp up here but the sparrow fledglings are not worried, they just keep emptying the feeders. They might be a bit more worried if they knew how little bird food we've got left  shrugg

Lucky you Peter!    A couple of us with petrol mowers have been taking it in turn doing the whole street of mainly elderly residents so it is now looking like a bowling green! Better finish that the council gets with their ride on tractor/ mowers !

Council guys only started cutting last week, some areas it was in thick tufts, unfortunately it is not lifted, the Crows and Rooks have a great time looking for grubs amongst the cut grass.
Turned out nice now mild with patchy light cloud.
