Cool and clear this morning, cloud cleared before dawn, coastal breeze is keeping the temperature down.
Lots of hedge hogs out , nice to see them not flattened over the roads, less traffic.

Wet, windy, miserable Cornwall, ideal if you are a duck unless you want to take off.

Really hot here in Cornwall too, when I have finished painting the boiler room I might also go out in to the garden to enjoy the rain. wave

It was a nice day today if a bit chilly. If this keeps up tomorrow I will take the Fiama lock off the habitation door and re-spray it now I have a rattle can that is supposedly the right colour to Mach the cab.
Eventually I would like to tackle the rust spot on the o/s wheel arch when it gets a bit warmer. I think it would be easier in warmer weather.

My father sprayed his MG in a cold garage in the Pennines over a few days. It changed colour dependent on the weather each day. I will be tackling the Rienza on the drive so it will be weather dependant. I need all the motivation I can get with some jobs.

Must have been good old cellulose paint. Oh how I remember repairing a rear bumper for a colleague and finish was perfect.  Sprayed last coat around 7pm and left overnight in garage to harden. It froze overnight unexpectedly and the bumper repair  bloomed ie changed colour  from rich red to chalky white  !

Lovely morning again here. Still a bit chilly at the back, no sun until half ten but by the time I have done brecky and muttly  has had his wobble to the end of the street it will be warm enought to get the lock off and try spraying it.
My fathers MG was a BGT in Metalic Grey. When I saw it the front wings and doors didnt match and the roof had hardly no shine at all. Being metalic and spraying stages at different times it was a mess. I think he had that re sprayed by his local garage in the end.
All I have to do is about two inches along the edge of the wheel arch in normal Ford Diamond White. I roller painted  my Landrover 90 but the finish on that only  had to last until the next hawthorne tree re striped it.

Overcast and mild, good dawn chorus, tons of gulls drive bombing from roof tops, lots of wee young birds fledging just the now, cats are out after them.

Heavy downpours overnight along our coast, strong northly winds
Sunny periods ,but chilly. If that was summer, were in for another long winter.

Couple of dry sunny days here but the wind has an icy edge to it. The temperature dropped by 10°c so the heavy jacket is back on. Loads of folk out wearing shorts, I suspect lots of them will regret it  think_smiley_46

Another cold and windy day here. Out early to collect my decking treatment gunk from Wickes . No waiting, straight up to the door with my order number. Item placed inside door for my to pick up. They seem to have got there act together at Wicks. The wind is off the North Sea I think, its threatening to rain so the decking wont get treated to a second coat for a couple of days.
Muttly managed his walk better this morning than when  it was bright and sunny. He prefers the cold and wet to a nice sunny day. Considering the state of mine and his joints he is the opposite to me.
I think retreating into the workshop is looking good this afternoon so I will put the heating on now.
