Hello for Central Scotland
Hi there. We have recently become the proud owners of an eleven year old Trident. It's our second VW but our first autosleeper. This site was really helpful while we were searching, so thank you for all the information that helped us make our purchase. Hope to be less of a lurker now. Thank you and look forward to contributing where we can.

Re: Hello for Central Scotland
Hi Mij,
Welcome to ASOF. We had a Duetto and liked it very much, but needed a bit more room for wheelchair etc. Our son lives in Callander, so coming up first week in April, and looking forward to some of my favourite cycle routes,(again) with Son and Grandsons. (hope I can keep up )
Plenty of Duetto owners on the forum, therefore great infobank.
Cheers
Andy

Hello and welcome from another satisified Trident owner. Have been up your way quite a few times. My wife is an ex-pat Scot. We usually stay at Witches Craig Camping Park.
Best wishes and enjoy your van.

Re: Hello for Central Scotland
hi everyone. Thank you all for your very, very kind welcomes apologies for not replying to you all, but thank you for taking time to say hello to us!
andygump - no worries about the duetto .... I figured it was a typo, but I did nearly check outside to see if somebody had exchanged my van overnight Enjoy your family visit to Callander. It's such a nice area
MikeR - glad you like Witches Craig. The setting really is a special one.
BobK - I'll look out for you too on our travels around town
boxerman - Mij is indeed taken from the famous otter It's the name of one of my canoes, so it's kind of just stuck as a collective nickname as it usually is travelling along with us (the canoe, not an otter!). Which is one of the dilemmas we have with chosing the trident - how to transport the canoe. I'll do a search here for any ideas, but more important than that at the moment, is how best to fit our drive away awning. We have a quechua we can use freestanding until making the right decision, so no real rush, but it would be good to have something sorted for summer.
thanks again everyone
