Re: ***WANTED DRIVER SEATBELT ****
I know it's rude to ask but... dog had your original one?
Sadly not the sort of thing that many owners here are likely to have sitting in the loft!
I suspect that your two main options are a breakers or the new item from VW - I've not tried but I wouldn't be surprised if they still stock them, though maybe only in black. The latter won't be cheap, but I personally wouldn't buy a safety-critical item like that from a breakers...

Looking at the price of those why not just replace both would be a cheaper options, also agreed do not buy from a breakers you dont know if they have been used for real.

Re: ***WANTED DRIVER SEATBELT ****
If Pauls suggestion does not come up 'trumps', why not give FDTS (Seat belt manufacturers) a call on 01932 342043 and speak to Sue.
I needed to replace the rear seatbelts in my wife's P38 Range Rover (1998), for the MOT test. I rang round a few dealers and was told they were obsolete! They suggested a breakers yard, but I was not keen to do this, and in any case those I did find were priced at £65 for 3 'scabby buckles' that were in almost as bad a condition.
I did some research on 'tinternet and located FDTS. They are a small specialist company that make seatbelts and safety belts for many trades and vehicles, and also can copy or re-manufacture any classic vehicle belt in any colour, buckle sizes (that vary enormously!)
They emailed me drawings prior to making my belts and buckles, and even sent one finished buckle to try on the car before I paid for it. A great service and very reasonably priced, a lot less than the breakers!
