No change here......yet. Forecast to become more unsettled over the next few days with plenty of the wet stuff coming. Shopping day, hooray  twiddle_thumbs

It was damp and grey when we headed north out of Suffolk but it cleared before we got to Lowestoft.
It’s warm in Cromer with hardly any wind which makes a change from last September . We were nearly blown off site by one of the named storms from last year.

Same old same old here too, dull, dry but cool (as in "cold" rather than "right on man" hugegrins ). You can feel the dampness in the air now I guess we'll have rain before long.

After heavy rain last night and a dull start today the weather is breaking and getting quite warm. Nearly shorts and sandals, no socks, if Cromer is ready for my lower legs.

Both Met off ice and BBC Weather were confident that there was minimal chance of rain today on Pen y Fan [Brecon Beacons]. 5 of us (1 aged 8) set off, with only high cloud above. On the ascent, glorious views in dappled sunshine of the Western Bannau and Powys. At the saddle, however, the view to the South didn't look great. After a hasty biscuit, the mist arrived. We skirted Corn Ddu and went on to the summit of Pen y Fan [highest mountain in Southern Britain]. Then came the rain. Out came the anoraks (but no leggings 'cos of the forecast). Totally soaked by the time we reached the car an hour later!

It's mid-summer!

Cymro, do what my wife does........try all the forecasts until you find one you like  snigger She is already looking at the weather forecast for our next trip that's a couple of weeks away  shrugg

Hardly any rain yesterday but it's been on overnight so the garden has got a much needed soaking. Off right now but there's more to come for sure.

Glad Tags ok Boaby up!

Heading from Angus to Ayr C&MC today so SWMBO can redeem Christmas 2019 present and have a session riding a Clydesdale horse, much delayed by Covid. Looks like journey today will be wet, but hopefully dry for main event tomorrow. I should be able to get a decent walk in tomorrow.

Really nice site, Bilbo.     Handy for the town and an excellent River walk going inland.   Hope the weather is kind.

Hope Tag isn't suffering too much with his ear Boaby.

Sun is shining for a change down here this morning, forecast looks good for the rest of the week which is great news as I can get the van properly waxed before we are off on Friday to Europe. No idea where yet just turn left or right off the ferry in Roscoff when we get to the dry bit. Probably stay in Brittany if the weather is warm.
Quite a few birds around this morning, wren grubbing around just outside the kitchen window just hope the neighbourhood cat doesn't come snooping around.
Have a great day
