Cold and wet but there's the promise of something better on the horizon for the middle of the week. Guess we'll all be watching the birds from our windows We had a young Sparrowhawk in the garden having a go at catching a pigeon, it missed and the pigeon got away

Windy old night but a nice sunny morning, chance of a few showers perhaps. Many of the leaves down now so time for the big clear up. Looking like some really good days coming up, Von Smallhousen ( the van) will be out and about this week and we will be having some l o n g beach walks!  all locally of course!

Heavy rain shower at 6 ,all cleared now, it's nice and sunny,blue sky with a light breeze.
Putting the garden furniture back in its place after the gales yesterday. Collecting up wet leaves.

Very windy again last night but calming down now, mixture of blue skies and big black clouds so the weather might do anything!
Another day leaf clearing and blowing if the rain stays away, looking forward to a day out tomorrow as the forecast is good and the tides are low midday, great for a walk along the 7 miles of sand at Godrevy!

Thanks GH lucky we are only 20 minutes from home ,6 vans on site but only ours and one other in use ,the owner has allowed the other vans to stay over lock down when the local caravan site where the people live shuts down Wednesday evening

Blue sky’s with a big moon shining on one side and the sun just coming up on the other ,very slight frost to the grass and roof tops , leaf collecting day

I didn't want to tempt fate as our van was in this morning for it's belated MOT, thankfully passed this time. Still to go to the dentists as my teeth have not passed their MOT Still very pleasant out

Turned out to be a crackin day, nice wood and gardens walk around Sewerby Hall, NO crowds this time, everyone was well behaved.

Cracking day down here as well today, gentle NE wind across the surf making some lovely clean waves, mind you social distancing was a bit of a problem!

Dry,cool westerly breeze, some cloud cover, nice photo GH , hope you had your face mask on.
Lots of trippers leaving yesterday afternoon, South side beaches we're almost empty.

The sun is breaking threw the clouds ,no wind and the smoke from last nights bonfire is going straight up, looks to be another nice day

A frost! We don't do frost what is going on will be long pants next. Lovely clear sunny morning and a few birds seem to be returning

All fine thanks, I had a routine check up due but lost a crown on Monday. Dentist stuck it back but was non-committal about how successful it would be. We had some rain overnight but there was a fall of snow up in the Cairngorms yesterday. Our local weather forecaster said the position of the jet stream augers well for a good skiing season with plenty of of snow.

Smell of spent fireworks in the damp air this morning,no breeze to clear it.
Counted 4 wee hedgehogs this morning,all in different places, that's 8 so far this week.
Blackies out too.

Very few fireworks here last night, I'm guessing there might be more tonight. Dry cold morning, nothing much moving so I think I will join them

Returned from shopping by 0800hrs, roads quieter than normal. Lovely starry night and the day looks promising but there is now an easterly blowing F4 or F5. Finish deep cleaning the van today then start on the cars.
Feeling it is time for this groundhog to join his mates in hibernation, may be gone some time
