Yesterday, 1.5 hours clearing 3" snow from 288 square metres of drive, read 'knackered'
This morning another 2 hours clearing 5" snow from the same, read knackered again.
Then a ton or so dropped from the roof to the drive, read, as above.
Roll on the spring/summer floods

Re: snow forecast in the UK
We had 5-6 inches of snow last Thurs/Friday.Finished clearing it by Sunday lunchtime.Overnight Mon/Tues another load descended, unfortunately I had in my wisdom booked the van in for service(including new timing belt kit) and M.O.T today.Managed to get the van to the garage by 8.45 a.m. to be told they were not sure how many mechanics would be able to get in!!Some of the driving on the way to the garage was appalling(not mine
).The van should be ready to be picked up on Thursday.Guess what - more snow forecast for overnight Wed/Thurs
I must say the local council workers have been doing a brilliant job to keep the disruption down to a minimum.
Just hoping for the best on Thursday now.
