2002 Rienza
Hi Everyone.
I have another query about the control panel on our recently purchased 2002 Rienza, hoping someone can help. On the main control panel (pictures below) i have worked out what all the buttons do apart from button 2 and 3. Here is what i know about the other buttons:
Top left red - turns on power for lounge area lights
Top left black - tests the power level of the leisure battery
Top right - one shows clean water level and the other turns the pump on
Bottom left red - turns the heater on, makes the ignitors work on the cooker and fridge
Bottom left black (labelled 2) - no idea??
Bottom middle - i think this selects which battery the solar panel charges or mains charges when cabled up.
Bottom right (labelled 3) - no idea??
Bottom right (labelled lights) - turns on power for kitchen/washroom/hab doorway and external lights
We did get a large black box of useful instructions when we got the motorhome but unfortunately there is nothing on the control panel. Any suggestion would be great.
Many thanks
Alex

Quick update, found this useful video on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxkbZRkJAO0&list=PLhLr0W6j73P4FI7RhbJGfiPLpylkmaxUU
So switches 1,2 and 3 are aux switches
The is a 12v socket where a tv would go so im guessing on switch is for that and the other switch is probably unused.

One of the slightly frustrating things about A/S is that they don't seem to have ever adopted a fully standardised way of wiring up the habitation electrics, so you tend to find that there's a lot of variation between similar models that are only months apart. So what you may find is that when it comes to the detail, yours may vary a bit from any other A/S conversion.
So - unfortunately - the only way to be absolutely certain is trial and error! You may get some further hints by looking at the wiring on the back of the panel, to see if there are unused connectors. But if you decide to do that, pull it out very carefully - I can recall an incident where someone found that several of the connections came loose and it wasn't immediately obvious how to put them back!

Re: 2002 Rienza
On our slightly later 'van:
switch 1 = cooker ignition & electric blower fan in heater
switch 2 = toilet flush pump
switch 3 = 12v spade socket in TV cabinet
as an earlier 'van yours may not have an elec. toilet flush and the blown air heating was an option so may not be fitted to yours.
The rocker switch middle bottom does control which battery (or none) gets charged when on elec. hookup. I would expect your solar panel to have its own arrangement for selecting which battery to charge (separate to the control panel switch).

Re: 2002 Rienza
Sorry this a bit late Alex but our 55 plate Rienza is as Slow Lane said. The only add on is that the TV Aerial Booster in the wardrobe and the USB socket is controlled by switch 3 and the socket in tv cupboard.
