Re: Weather
Nice start here, gonna be a tiny amount cooler than yesterday, the first day this year I've been working outside without a fleece.
Shed now complete and populated, thank goodness!!
BIG news, especially for BB, our froggies are back!!

Re: Weather
Definitely a bit warmer but the rain has come back this morning. Whilst I was sorting bacon butties I left the dinning room door open but muttlie wasn’t for going out. It will be a sulky walk if it’s still raining.

Re: Weather
Dull, dank and drizzly outside this morning and a high of 7°c. It may dry up later this afternoon but I wouldn't bet on it.
Take care folks

Re: Weather
Heavy rain showers started earlier than forecasted,so only a wee dander with Tag.
Not as much frog sporn this year Ian, frog numbers are down 50% too!, putting it down to major gas pipeline works all around our area.
Blocking there route to the ponds.
Have a nice day.
Boaby. Hope your dentist isn’t to expensive

Re: Weather
Dentist wasn't too bad Boaby, must have a sensitive tooth though. She gave me an ultrasonic descaling - fine until she hit one tooth and I near went through the roof. Note taken not to go near that tooth again in the future. Refund from Argos so went next door and got another jump start/compressor from Halfords - seems to be better quality.
Now raining quite heavily, hope it eases up before shopping time..

Re: Weather
overcast but not a lot of rain, quiet at the early shop at 0730 this morning, never seen so many bananas I think someone must have over ordered. I admit to going back to bed when we got home, now looking at flights for next winter's vacation and hanging on the phone to beat up Saga on the motorhome renewal. £210.36 are they having a laugh I expect that to start with a 1. Let you know how I get on.
Good luck with the chores guys, I am supposed to be pressure washing .... just don't feel like it at the moment, the pressure washer is a beast and not the easiest thing to start, I can hardly pull the cord, why it doesn't have electric start who knows!
Have a great day all

After the massive hike in premiums last year, I was happy with the £650 this year and I know people paying more than double that. I don't think I could get my push bike insured for £200. What is your secret?

I guess living on an area that has a low crime rate, 20 plus years of NCD and a 3000 mile limit.
Also playing with the excess can make a huge difference.

Treated wifey to a new lawn mower with electric start, it pained me too much watching her pulling the start cord for ages with no results. She's much happier now
On another note, it pee'd down here this evening so the new shed got a leak test, all bone dry inside bl88dy glad to say!!!

Re: Weather
Bit of a change this morning with clear skies and a light frost, it will soon burn off and get up to 10°c later. It should stay dry for most of the day although rain is expected later this afternoon. Got a few things to do outside (under orders ) so at least I won't get soaked.

Re: Weather
A nice bright and dry start here. In theory it should be a good day to get the van washed including the roof but the hose has split again. Also from memory the coast road to Deepdale was mucky last time we went so I will leave it until after next weekend. We are not away at Easter so that would the ideal time to get it washed weather allowing.

Beautiful sunrise with a cool breeze! Only 2 degrees , good long walk with Tag earlier , suns out and a clear blue sky, lots of contrails this morning.
Have a good day.

Re: Weather
Lovely and sunny this morning but still quite cool at only 5 degrees but the Met say it's not going to last. Might get up to around the 8 degree mark but it's going to cloud over later this morning and turn to heavy rain in the afternoon.

Re: Weather
Raining on and off all morning, not a day for getting out and doing much. Birds are ripping through the sunflower hearts and suet balls like they haven't eaten all Winter, this could get expensive!

Re: Weather
Like GH, it’s rain and horrible but also a thick mist which, as we live at the top of a hill, leaves us on an island surrounded by grey.

Morning Dave, Tony, GH, TW, Ian. Rained for most of the night with deep puddles on the roads, brief donder with Tag for his ablutions , back in for porridge , not a day for being out, milder and no wind.
Have a nice day.

Morning Boaby,
Heavy rain last night here too but it's turned into a bright morning if a little cloudy. Rain forecast for later in the afternoon again but hopefully everything I need to do today will be done.
Take care all.

Morning all. Happy Paddy's Day, couple of cans of the black stuff in the fridge for later
Looks like a repeat of yesterday's weather, which is fine. Should be dry for most if the day with rain arriving later this afternoon.
