We have never encountered so many problems with a new motorhome as this one
Table leg socket came out of floor
Habitation door assembly which houses waste bin came detached from door almost completely
Trim around rear window came unstuck
Lounge skylight hole
Fold down shelf damaged sink seal, due I'll fitment
Front skylight so stiff near unserviceable
Waste water gauge unreliable
Oven door came open on motorway and top hinge gave way before I could stop(we have a check list to prevent anything being left unsecured before we start a journey. We have been accused of us damaging door assembly as Thetford said this could not happen and they rejected claim, I have written to them and dealer saying we don't tell lies
2 drawer fronts came off
Waste water tap / pipe insecure.
Apart from above we are furious after spending £82000 odd with this heap of !!;:'".

What model AutoSleeper is this Tony, you don't show what you have in your profile. Sounds awful

It's been mentioned time and again that the build quality of motorhomes has deteriorated significantly in the past 4 years. In 2019 Hymer were ready to pull out of the UK, and a few others were struggling. The pandemic "boom" seamed to create revenue and a few manufacturers put production into overdrive. This meant they were working all out to get stock into the forecourts and build quality suffered. Component parts were also cheaply manufactured or sourced from Asia. Fast forward, they are now struggling. Left with too many vehicles they can't shift. Massive back-log on warranty repair claims. Also, worse situation is the loans are now due for the financed used to facilitate the said pandemic "boom".

Just last week, Hymer again put staff in County Durham on notice that they were cutting close to 200 jobs. Feedback from the motorhome shows has been that everyone viewing new stock were alarmed at the poor quality of the vehicles on display. Sad state of affairs for the industry and so disappointing for new owners.

In your shoes and based on the info you have given, I would seriously consider rejecting the MH.

Same as mine i bought in 2021

Same faults as mine your items 1,2,8.11  . And silly things like coathooks falling off. And why 3 sockets by sink when only about 6 inches square for kettle and toaster etc?

The table post was as yours, fixed to floor with half inch screws that barely went through floor covering. I replaced with 4 inch screws through floor to wood block underneath!

Only consolation is that I paid quite a lot less than you did,(new) in August 2021!

List price is now a lot more especially with Fiat 9 spd Auto 160.

We have a 2023 Broadway EL, purchased new. Our oven hinge ‘gave way’ and detached from the surround. Was repaired under warranty. Other than that, there have been few issues.
