£295 isn't so bad for a Warwick when I paid £290 last year for my little 1.2 litre Corsavan. If it was the car version (which to all intents and purposes it is identical to) I'd be paying £30.

Hi all, our road tax is free, as our car is a 1936 Austin seven. but we tow it a lot with our clubman.

Fond memories of travelling as a lad in my fathers 7, he progressed to a ten and then I think a 12 … was there a 12 ?

The WXL is due soon but it’s only £165 as I up plated the weight, the smart car we tow is £0’s , when the WXL has to be renewed I am going to put the wife’s disability tax on it so it will be £0’s for both of them 👍

Beware a scam email that I receive this morning telling me that my vehicle was no longer taxed.  Had me panicking briefly although I hadn't received any letter and I mark all renewal dates on the calendar.   Now reported.

Don't know why road tax isn't just scrapped in this country and an extra few pence on fuel.... oh wait yes I do! shrugg
How can there be any logic I pay £160 or whatever it is for an HGV motorhome which is used regularly and £485 for a sports car which does less than 500 miles a year?

Ditto … And how can my motorhome Michelin tyres cost roughly the same as the Michelin tyres for my sports car which are considerably larger shrugg
