Yellow warning for rain yesterday,  now yellow warning for ice today.  Raining on and off so far, temp 7. Dropping to zero tonight then minus temps overnight for next 4 days.

Snow on the ground which has now frozen.  Scraper at the ready for the car windscreen as work beckons....

Morning Dave, no snow here yet, only a light frost, no wind and dry, ideal for a wee donder down the promanard towards the harbour with Tag.
Just the weather for a big dod of porridge.

-2°c and a light frost on the ground but no snow here. Should warm up a little but, with a clear sky, it will drop to -5°c tonight. Looks like eat, sleep, repeat for the rest of the week

1° (real feel -5) and that's as high as its going to be today.  No snow but wintry showers expected. We had yet more rain overnight.  2 yellow warnings in place, one for rain/ice and the other for ice.

It had already fallen, when I looked out about 4.45am  ....  about an inch, and everything beautiful and pristine.   At 76, I still get that little boy thrill from fresh snow!!    Crystal clear now.    The snow is quite powdery and I find the leaf blower does an excellent job when it is not wet.

Cold wet front coming through the area just now, should clear out to sea shortly, very cold vehicles coming in from Scarborough have snow on the wind screens.

Temperature finally up to 0 degrees, clear blue sky and gentle wind. No sign of snow but heavy sleet forecast here for Wednesday. -5 forecast for tonight.

Very cold, no wind, a very clear night which has resulted in a heaven frost with all the roof tops white and the lawns crispy, clear skys and the sun is making an appearance

Snow overnight, about 3cm, temp -2, rising to +2 before dropping back to 0 tonight.

A lovely bright but chilly start this morning. It was starting to freeze when we went out last night. Muttly didn’t hang about then and didn’t bother going out whilst I was cooking breakfast. We have to watch our footing on our first walk.

As predicted we have a frost and it's -3°c and does it feel it. Nothing more to report 

We have snow. As ever, it's not a lot on the south Cornwall coast but much worse on the higher ground around the main A30.

Good job Groundhog got away when he did.

Despite the cold earlier,we had a good walk out at 6, nice and sunny now.no point in putting a washing out as it will just freeze.

Beautiful sunny day here, now +3 or so, so only 20c colder than where we were on Sunday!!
Ice has melted from solar panel on MH roof, surprisingly, it still works with frost all over it.

Frosty again but there's a bit of cloud in the sky so we're roasting at 1°c this morning. Loads of accidents on the roads yesterday, not sure why when there are plenty of warnings about the conditions being broadcast 

My wife spotted two LTTs in the garden yesterday, that's a first. Must be struggling for food in the nearby woods.

We are a wee bitty warmer - 3 degrees at the moment - almost tropical compared to what we have had recently.

Several short snow showers yesterday,  didn't freeze at all (would have made a great snowball fight) but didn't thaw either. This morning its still covering everywhere but I don't think there's been any more. 2° and not much change from that today.

Complete frost white out earlier,didn't get Tag out until 7 when the frost eased iof abit, carn't complain ,some folk have it worse than me.
We have some long tailed t its flying around the trees here too Tony. Chaffinchs are in good numbers.

Another cold night,-2 in the back garden, frog pond and water butts frozen however nice and dry for a good walk out earlier with Tag down the south side towards the Spa and back, porridge again.

Heavy frost again last night, cars are white, -2 at the moment but forecast says it should clime to 4 later on, fingers crossed

A little more snow overnight,. Did thaw a little yesterday but everywhere still covered. Didn't drop below zero overnight, 2° now rising to 4 .

Well, it's a bit later on and still -2°c. Significant frost here too and the sky is clear, hopefully will warm up when the sun bothers to get above the horizon. Shopping day so ice scrapers are at the ready
