Cool starlite morning and dry, gales have passed over ,full blood moon to the west, great walk out with Tag down to Sewerby cricket grounds and back for a roll and square sausage.

Clear sky this morning, we're getting a rare dry day with a bit of sunshine before the next lot of rain hits us tomorrow. Some places have had ground frost but, although it's cool, we had none around here. Might get some of the holiday washing dried at last.

Cool still morning with light cloud cover but clear sky's over the Angus Hills and North to Grampan mountains

Don't think management has anything planned for today so may just chill, sure there was something I wanted to do about the house but can't for the life of me remember what it was

Bright start and dry after yesterday downpours which included hail. Supposed to be a good weekend with tomorrow temp up to 18.

A lovely bright start but the breeze is still a bit chilly bordering on windy. Hopefully it should be a bit more sheltered were we going to walk today at Dunwich Heath.
Regarding sleeping in a hammock my father said the only people not sea sick on his troop ship to Singapore were the guys that manage to get into the hammocks. The officers sleeping in bunks didn’t do well crossing the bay of Biscay.
I tried a hammock once but found it hurt my back and hips. Being flat seems more logical.

Clear blue skies again today, a little cooler but still stubbies weather. More gardening chores today, repairing where our stripy friend has dug big holes and emptying flower troughs, or so I am told.

Lovely start to the day with broken cloud and sunshine but the wind is very strong and we expect it to be all change very soon. Heavy rain is forecast for much of the day so I'll be reading the Sunday papers.

It is all going down the drains here today, well I am anyway. censored!

On with the overalls and long armed gloves and out with the rods, can't wait.
Not a bad day, dry with light cloud and reasonable 12 degrees with very little wind. Yesterday afternoon was more like a summer's days, good way to top up the tan.

Did you have it at the same time as your flu jab Boaby?
Would be interested to hear reports as we are having that next week and have been told by a couple of people they suffered after effects. confused3

We had flu and covid jabs at the same time. Covid was the Pfizer omicron variant booster. Neither of us had any side effects from either jab. up!

Yesterday was a real bonus, sunshine all the way (right in my face all the way to Black Country). Lovely walk with the grandkids (and their parents) up the Lickey Hills, Sunday lunch in pub, and a dry return home. Heavy rain started at 11pm for a couple of hours. Dry and bright start today.

Our rain started at lunchtime yesterday and didn't stop until until about 10pm. The cloud did clear and we got sight of the full moon but it was high in the sky by that time.

This morning it's sunny with a little cloud and 13°c. Not going for our flu and booster jabs today, as the appointments are for tomorrow (l misread the letter :0_blush:

Another blue sky morning, 11 degrees at the moment but climbing fairly quickly. Off to Falmouth this morning, coffee and then a walk along the front. After that it has to be a pasty for lunch. Rowes in Penryn can always be relied on for a good pasty.

Sometime early this morning it was raining hard here now we are back at the top of Norfolk. Now we have a bright clear day with the wind from the west so not too cold for a nice Autumnal walk.

Temperatures down to 4 ,clear starlite morning,good walk with Tag, nice to get down to the harbour at high tide to see the wee boats leaving.back for porridge.

The forecast for yesterday was for it to be dry and sunny, well they right if you discount the heavy and frequent rain showers shrugg

Today has started bright and cool with some light cloud. It should stay dry until this afternoon when it's all change again with rain arriving from the west.

Ended up with a chicken pasty and bacon wrap, very tasty it was too. In the end went to the south coast to avoid the breeze and it was really warm, lots of swimmers and people sunbathing just like a summers day!
Colder last night (8 degrees) but a lovely sunny start to the day, hope it lasts as all change from tonight according to the forecast.
Badgers must have had a party last night, lawns look like ploughed fields, honestly not sure how to stop them. Hoping to get outside later, more garden work.
Fighting a claim with Air Canada at the moment for a ten hour delay and lost baggage, cheeky beggars offered $500 voucher against future flights. Montreal convention says they have to refund $1000 each passenger so $2000 in total against original form of payment. They can try to fob me off but I am going nowhere except the Canadian Transport Authority and then small claims court in the UK. Let you know if I win up!

About 12 degrees overnight and up to around 20 this afternoon - we have cloud today which we appreciated with an 800m climb on our walk (hubby might have complained about the height gain, oh well….). Lots of rain down on the Costas apparently but we are in the rain shadow here in Els Ports. Fantastic scenery and the Springers can run free all day which is a huge bonus compared to home :-)
