Reoccurring Broadway problems
Ever since the Sargent electronic problems were resolved our 2020 Broadway still spoils our enjoyment of motorhome life. You may think this is a trivial problem. Despite leaving the drain cock on the waste water tank open we are awakened at about 2 am! With tank full bleep bleep warning and lit up Sargent panel. If I power down the EC 700 unit and reboot it, the waste tank contents graphic shows empty. Over the next 4 to 6 hours it creeps up 25, 50, 75 :then bleep bleep bleep! The only way to silence it is to switch everything off incuding all 12v services and the Truma heater. The Truma heater is another recurring problem. Every so often a horrible acrid electrical smell comes out of the blown air system, whether on gas or EL 1 or 2 setting. The van has been back to the factory twice and they say a smell like "Hot Scalectric racing car controllers is not uncommon and not dangerous". In both instances Sargent and Truma say not our problem! Anyone else suffering like us or is my van haunted?

The Truma smell is well known and documented on this forum.

It is Paul and I also get the well known mild electrical smell but only when on electric, the O/P also reports it on gas which I’ve never had or heard of?

Re: Reoccurring Broadway problems
Waste tank guages are notoriously unreliable. I wonder if you left some water in the tank might it react differently. Or even drive it around with some water left in it. This might clear the faulty gauge. Try cleaning the tank using citric acid which should clean the gauge points too.
You should still be under warranty and able to get the gauge replaced.
Good luck with it and don’t let this irritant spoil your enjoyment.

Not answer to your problem but a cure for the bleep in the short term….in settings on control panel it is possible to turn off the bleep warning. The panel will still light up if there is high level triggered but not bleep.
