Very windy last night after a lovely sunny day. This morning we've got rain and it's quite dull but at least warmer. Looks like brighter but colder days ahead.

Overnight rain cleared by 4, cooler north westerly breeze, good walk out with Tag.

Bright and sunny with a bit of a dip in the temperature, very still too. With a similar forecast for tomorrow, the washing machine will be on overtime today.

Cold hereabouts, the heating's off with fuel costs rising higher than a Bride's Nightie. And needing to re-tax the camper as it is March and the first of perhaps several budgets this year. I didn't realise until I looked at the Gov web site:
The Budget Responsibility and National Audit Act 2011 states that the OBR must produce a forecast on at least two occasions each financial year.

"AT LEAST TWO"

Well there is a get-out clause if ever I saw one. How many budgets can we expect this year?

Bright and sunny again but we're starting with quite a heavy frost today. It should disappear fairly quickly and give us a decent day to look forward to. More rain expected tonight into tomorrow though.

Started raining late afternoon yesterday and hasn't stopped since It's now fairly light showers stuff but at least the temperature has come up a tad. Busy day with a routine hospital appointment, food shopping and then a bath panel to fit shrugg

It was another grey damp and misty start here in Middleton in Teasdale this morning but it dried up enough to walk along the river side path before lunch.
After a mooch round the town we bought pies for lunch and walked back to the van. As we got back it started drizzling but has cleared up again. We can see the hills now.

Thick sea fret/ har turning to drizzle around 4, not pleasant walking conditions,brief walk with Tag and back in for his breakfast.

Lovely sunny morning, bit on the cold side but no frost and warming up. We have the promise of a few decent days of weather ahead so it might be time to get some outside jobs done.

After a night of torrential rain it was dry until we got to Barnard Castle. All the way down to Helmsley it’s been wet and grey.
It’s still raining but brightening up so we might go for a mooch round Helmsley this afternoon.

Our lovely morning continued into the early afternoon and my wife was tempted into the garden. She (and the washing) got caught in an almighty hail storm. When it stopped her trug was filled with about two inches of hailstones Whistle1

So much for the forecasted two days of sunny weather.

Really horrible day here, 40 mph gales bringing down heavy rain showers, managed a brief walk out with Tag at 6.

Identical start here to yesterday except the workies must have the day off. Need to scrape the frost off the car as I need to get the Sunday papers and do a trip to the recycling site to dump the bags of garden waste collected by my wife yesterday.
