Will do

I personally don't need one of these as I have quite long arms and applying the handbrake has never been a problem.
I just wondered if it's wise to remove it at MoT time? I know for a fact that if you present your vehicle with a child seat fitted you run the risk of failure.

That is another interesting point. Very interested to hear from those who have left it on for the MOT

Re: Ducato Handbrake extender
My handbrake was mentioned on the MOT as it was bent. I catch my backside on the lever when getting out of the van, so wonder what would happen if I had the extender, A&E comes to mind! Like to add I only use the handbrake on a slope.

My handbrake is also bent out towards the door, I also caught it on exiting. I bought a secondhand extender and having looked at it, thought it would catch on the door , that's why I sold it again (advertised it on here but sold it on a FB group).

If you get out carefully and know what to expect it is fine. I would rather have it than not

Hi All,
I always manage to get stuck on my handbrake when wearing shorts, takes ages to get off, hanging in mid air neither in or out of the van, you would think after doing this 5 or 6 times a year that I would remember and not do it again.

Sounds painful as well as embarrassing with the door wide open
