Blowing an absolute hooley just now and has been most of the night. Forecast for next couple of hours here is gusts over 70mph.

Just been out to pick up a parcel and almost lost my beenie hat down the High Street. Not often they get caught by wind. Quick check outdoors and everything secure so far.

Still a bit dark outside but it's wild, windy and wet, a touch warmer at 12°c though. Plenty to do inside (so I've been told  ) so I'll just have to gird my loins 

Just popped out for a head clearing walk and it's carnage out there, full (well they were ) wheelie bins have been blown over and contents strewn around. It was very stormy last night.

Blowy here as well, also 12 degrees at the moment but dropping as the day goes on to 7 by this evening and down to 4 by 5am.

After bright and warmer days it’s gone all grey and breezy here. Hopefully this coming storm will stay north of here and not stop our couple of days away with our son on Wednesday. The forecast so far says Thursday should be dry and not as windy in Rosedale. If not we are staying at a pub so we have a retreat.

Mild here too, 11 degrees and overcast skies, still no rain though and the gentlest of breeze.

Trusty old pressure washer died yesterday, wouldn't even start so after many years consigned to the scrapper. Not cheap buying a new one, have to take a stiff drink first!

Much colder this morning. We are in the lull between the storms so just a case of sit it out today then get on with things tomorrow. Hope telly isn't bad today

Same here, quite calm and not too cold yet but that will change with the storm later and the strong north wind. Still plenty to do indoors.

A bright chilly morning so far and the wind seems to have dropped now. Management has gone to her mates and probably out on the coast walking so they will have a good day for it. She took hat , gloves, boots and her parker thinking she would stay warm.

Turned out a lovely sunny day here, 11 degrees and hardly any breeze. Quite a lot of swimmers in today, braver than me I am afraid. Took the van down, lots of other vans parked along the seafront many clearly being lived in. Hope the Council don't just stop everyone, goodness knows what it will be like come Summer!

Very similar here today. I was up and out early (for me) this morning to start descaling the Truma Ultrastor - a bit nippy but cloudless sky and soon warmed up.

Circumstances and weather have meant that its 10 weeks since we were away with the van - that's the longest ever for any of our vans but we are out next week Monday to Friday. Everything tested and now ready to go.....

Gales ramping up to 40 + at 5 am, mild westerly and dry, very brief walk with Tag for his ablutions, wheelie bins rolling around and old tree branches falling from trees., back in for a brew and under the duvet for an hour.

Didn't get much sleep due to wind overnight, thought the bedroom window was coming in on more than one occasion. Fortunately seems to have quietened down in past couple of hours. At least it is frost free.

Much excitement as have a couple of appointments in the diary this week. Check up at dentist tomorrow (first for two years and booked back in September!) The taking daughter's car in for MOT on Wednesday.

Update now daylight is here. May be frost free but bird bath was frozen. Had to break the ice on the surface.

Another wild night of weather here too, don't think it was quite as bad as forecasted but enough to make sleeping difficult. Sky is clear and the sun is just peeping over the horizon. No frost but much colder and the likelihood of showers on the way.

If the birdbath is frozen then the birds can sort it themselves 

A bright but breezy morning here. One of muttlies mates, a little Westy, dosnt like windy weather. She won’t go out of there garden if it’s windy. Muttly is the opposite he won’t go up the garden and would rather  brave the weather and go up the road to his favourite grass area. 

10 degrees and a bit of a breeze, looks like it should stay dry though. Had lots planned but may just be necessary to jump on the big silver bird in a couple of days time so things on hold a bit.

The wind has dropped here and it’s a lovely sun set. There’s no cloud cover so it’s going to be a bit chilly tonight. I only have a short walk for muttly pre bed time and I have my hat and gloves ready.
