Weather

Bit of blue sky and sunshine this morning but still on the cool side. I went out for a wee walk yesterday and dressed appropriately for the weather, half way round I was forced to take my jacket off as it got very warm. Should stay dry today but all downhill tomorrow.

Cool cloudy start here, dry now but the rain is on it's way for later. Looks like the weekend will be a bit mixed weather wise, dry on Saturday and wet on Sunday. Time to dig out a book to read.

Cool dry night, thick sea fret/ Har rolled in covering the sunrise,nice walk out with Tag ,just back in time before a soaking.

Wet overnight but a dry start and a bit warmer too. Just saw the weather for the week ahead, looks like anyone heading this way will need their waterproofs as it becomes unsettled. Need to organise our last trip away for sometime in October to shut the van down for the winter 

Heavy cloud cover ,not raining yet,but it's in the air,good long walk with Tag, more walkers out than usual for a Sunday morning.

Wet overnight and wet now, with more wet to come. A quiet day by the fireside for me (unless the boss has other idea of course  )

Overnight rain cleared by 5,cooler wind has picked up from a north east.
Nice fresh walk with Tag amongst all the dead leaves that have come down over the weekend.

Our weather yesterday was the exact opposite of the forecast, it was dry and sunny with loads of blue sky. Today its bit dull and cold but dry so far. Might get out for a breath of fresh air later.

Can't hear any wind or rain do hopefully should be fine when daylight arrives. Now the autumnal equinox here this will be state of affairs for early risers until spring.

Taking SWMBO's car for  MOT today. Will get a nice walk in while being done.

Sunny and bright but there's a cool breeze blowing. It appears we have a band of rain on it's way to us from the north arriving sometime later this afternoon. Rest of the week looks a bit unsettled, I blame last nights full moon

Cool clear night ,lots of stars out,nice walk out with Tag along Sewerby cliff tops, lots of Skeins of wild foul coming in from the North East, glad these aren't dive bombing.

Breezy but otherwise pleasant autumn morning.

SWMBOs car passed MOT at no extra expense other than test fee. Garage didn't mention it but online check showed it failed initially, both headlights set too low. Tester must have adjusted as it then passed. Car is 66 plate and this is its third MOT, I haven't touched the headlights as the car is a hybrid and there are too many high voltage cables in engine bay for me to touch anything other than washer fluid etc. So if no change to light settings must be that MOT is subjective as it has been passed twice with no comment re headlights. Doesn't inspire confidence.

Sorry Tony ,got mixed up yesterday,re car testing, should have been BB, senior moment,to many brain fogs this days.

Bright sunny start here, looks like a good few days. Lots to catch up on outside so busy time ahead.

Interesting about the headlights Bilbo, took the van for an MOT a few years ago and they initially failed it on headlights too low. Lights adjusted and passed. Took it the following year and they wanted to fail it for headlights too high!! After a few choice words they saw the error of their ways.

Never been back since!

Fair breeze blowing here too and a chill in the air. Lots of cloud with a bit of brightness breaking through, could go either way so it's rainwear when we venture out today for shopping (assuming there's anything on the supermarket shelves of course )

Thanks GH, supermarket shelves were surprisingly full. Really appreciated the Aldi leaflet for next week letting us know that they are having Christmas trees and lights for sale 

Weather has brightened up enough for a washing to get hung out. We'll see how long that lasts.
