Broadway Bonnet Decal
Our Broadway’s bonnet decal has really deteriorated & I’d like to replace it, of course Auto-Sleeper parts don’t have any and are not interested as usual. I managed to track down the company who makes the decals but they will only supply them to Auto-Sleepers not direct to customers. So this company will probably have the pdf files for the decals even if the can’t provide them you think they would be able to produce them to order or even give you the file to take to a graphics company but no such luck.
Before you say it, I have spoken to a few graphics companies who say it’s impossible to reproduce the graphics as the stripes are dotted, even doing solid colours nothing like what’s there they have quoted stupid money into the hundreds (more than I can get an entire van sign written for) which I wouldn’t even pay if it was a perfect match!
I’m curious to know if others have suffered with their bonnet decal breaking down like ours? I’d expect them to wear better considering how little mileage these vehicles do, the over cab decals have also deteriorated but no where near as bad, side and rear decals are still pretty good, what annoys me is Auto-Sleepers are not interested in assisting you obtain replacements.

Find a graphics company, the sort that wrap and sign write vans and they can copy it, probably be much cheaper too!

Tried that, discussed in the lengthy post
They can’t produce them and stupid money for something similar £300-£400 which I wouldn’t even pay if it was an identical match.

Goodness that is crazy I have had graphics copied for boats and it cost nothing like that.
Sorry I did not read the post properly first time
Being a spotty design shouldn't prevent it being copied with the right equipment.

I know they supply Swift as I bought a set off them for my Autocruise Forte.

Re: Broadway Bonnet Decal
The local sign writer in the next village to me charged £165 to re decal my Autotrail, supply and fit, admittedly only straight stripes and solid colours but that was the whole van

I have contacted this company already, initially getting back to me promptly however after sending details and photos I’m still awaiting a response. Will jog their memory if I don’t get a response by the end of the week.

Surprising turnaround by Auto-Sleeper parts, they have told me they can now supply the decal direct from the graphics company (do you think they read these posts)
They were adamant they couldn’t help previously
Anyway it was less than £60 including vat and delivery. Only headache now is removing the current decal without the rubbish Peugeot paint coming away as I’m expecting, bonnet will get a full respray if it does, so won’t be the end of the world I guess.

Re: Broadway Bonnet Decal
Recently renewed the decal on the end of our awning on our 1998 Clubman (less than £4 off ebay). I tried solvents to clean the area, then Farecla finishing paste G10 but in the end the only thing that would get the old residue off was a VERY carefully used stanley knife blade (very shallow angle to the surface). I would not like to do that over a large area like a bonnet plus I think the awning was powder coated which is harder than paint. Let us know how you get on removing the decal
or if you decide to go for a full respray. I would like to get the stripes done on our van but AS don't supply them.
