2017 Autosleeper Peugeot Rear Mudflaps

The latest models of Autosleeper do not have rear mudflaps fitting but you can ask the suppling dealer to contact Autosleeper and have them under warranty fitted by the dealer or posted to you.I chose the post to me as the dealer is a distance away,you receive the two rubber mudflaps and two alloy brackets,has anyone fitted these who can tell me where the brackets fit too. Thank you Ray

I don’t doubt your assertion that mud flaps can be fitted under warranty, however an you say where this info can be corroborated before I contact my dealer..

Bought a new 2017 model Broadway this January,in brochure mudflaps are shown,so I phoned Autosleeper and ask why I did not have them on mine I was told new rulings meant they did not have to fit them,but as so many customers had complained as they are shown in the brochure they can be fitted under warranty,my dealer new nothing of this so he contacted Autosleeper and found I was correct,the claim must go through your dealer but you can confirm with Andy Curry first,you must stress to the dealer to ask for bracket and mudflap or you will only get the mudflap.Just look in the 2017 brochure and you will see the mudflaps fitted Hope this helps and answers your question Ray

I think it's Alan Curry not Andy unless I'm mistaken which is quite possible.

Hi I would contact your dealer now by e mail if you can as you will probable have to explain to them it’s an under warranty claim and you have to claim mudflaps plus the brackets and who to contact Alan Curry only because he knows of the situation,I doubt if they will believe you at first this all takes time,it took me approx 5 weeks to get them.If you need any more info just ask.Anyway enjoy your break in Spain.All the best Ray

Cheers Ray, I have sent the email, your advice is very welcome..
As it happens, I also noted that the front fog lamps are also listed in the brochure, they are also listed in the 2018 brochures...but...like the mudflaps, are not fitted!
I was told at the time of my purchase, that the front fogs were not actually available due to the canbus system of electronics, but why put them into the official brochure?

It’s confusing to say the least, I have to say that my Corinium is really pretty faultless so I’m not unhappy.
Far from it but advertised accessories should be fitted.

Checked 2017 brochure for this year 2017 it says for the Peugeot chassis models fog lights are optional.I suspect it’s the same with the alko models!!!!!!! It is a hash symbol for my model that tells me this.Ray

Just to add most motorhome salesmen do not know anything about the motorhomes they sell as my salesman said when ask a question ‘ I know nothing ask the service department’ even then it’s a lottery who you speak to.Ray

Yes I would accept that they are optional, however I was told that they absolutely cannot be fitted, even if I wanted them..

No doubt I’ll have to wait a while for a response to my email...

What I found on a previous FIAT based motorhome which came without foglamps is that they can be physically fitted but cannot be made operational after the chassis build due to a software module in the Canbus system.  If the chassis had been ordered from FIAT to include foglamps then the necessary software is compiled within the configuration from the outset.  No matter how much I pleaded with FIAT technical they would not provide a complete new software package for the dealer to download and install. 
I assume this may be the same with Peugeot?

OEM Front fogs could always be retrofitted on a relay / switch?

Now then... anybody seen a brouchure pic showing front mud flaps? ;)

No Mud flaps on my 2017 Mercedes Stanton. Shows them in the 2017 Brochure. My step gets covered with all sorts of road cr*p that won't be doing it any good. Contacted Derby Motorhomes today, They are following up on it.
