Are many of you visiting this year's show ?

I've got my ticket on order for Friday 14th and will be lurking around the Auto-Sleeper and Marquis stands and I won't be heading back to Durham until my deposit is paid for a 2017 Kingham.

I never thought that in my mid fifties I'd feel like a kiddy at Christmas again snigger

If you're around on the 14th and see me hanging around a Kingham with a wide grin on my face.... Don't be shy biggrin

Ken.

I'll be on/in the ACCEO stand/lounge and circulating on at least Wednesday but possibly another day(s) as well.

AS have invited ASOC to have a presence on their stand and the ASOC Secretary should be their most of the time if you want to enquire about the club.

Thanks go to you both !

I'm happy to have a chat with whoever's representing ASOC on the Friday Peter and if I've got time, I'll check out the ACCEO stand too.

Thats interesting about ASOC being invited onto the AS stand. Is that a first? Can't recall it before. Bob

No it was normal upto a few years ago, Maybe they saw the Swift stand last year

I like the October Show but the NEC lacks seating and a day is far too long for me to walk so think show wise it will be Event City in January

There was much more seating last year Roli.

I was still recovering from having my knee butchered, and it was far easier to find a seat. In previous years there were more people sat on the floor, but they seem to have taken the hint. (Saved having to visit a manufacturer's stand and feign interest in their vans!! We did usually get a cup of tea and a biscuit though - if we appeared really interested!  snigger)

Dave, the cup of tea and a biscuit is fatal. We went 2 years ago just to look around.....had the tea and biscuit treatment....was asked..."Well what is stopping you buying now?" "Well..er...nothing really except we were going to buy in a year or two" Anyway 20 mins later we had signed up for a new van.

You'll be safe in the ACCEO lounge, the worst we can do to you is get you to join as a personal member for £5. If two of you do both shows a year gets you 4 cups of coffee and biscuits (plus 3 AM magazines) - excellent value.

With the price of coffee in Starbucks that sounds very tempting Peter.

We're going on the Tuesday looking for inspiration for another motorhome as we sold our Executive in June but miss the freedom to take off when the mood and opportunity arises.

Our friends are at the show today, decided not go this year, I always seem to buy something I did not know I wanted until I saw it. And then realised I did not really need it after all when getting it home
