Bessacar for sale
Today we have just done 160 round trip to Lancaster.
We went to view a Bessacar E425 for sale on eBay - described as in very good condition inside - very good condition outside - very good overall.
The reality was
A cooker hob top with a completely rusted surround
Lower storage lockers all the trim falling off
Toilet shower compartment filthy
The heating system could only work on gas (that's if it worked)
The sink was filthy dirty
The cab seats fabric would be better used as a fishing net as it was threadbare
Minor bodywork damage in 3/4 places
Two weeks before MOT expiry
No carpets on the floor
The owner proudly proclaimed that the over cab bed had been fully renovated - (probably had to)
The camper was such a shed that I stopped the viewing and politely informed the seller that it was in such poor condition
that it was not for us
Anyone out there looking at this or any of your friends doing the same please put them wise - this one is 100% a heap on wheels.
Having just sold our Talisman which was gleaming (which sold within 48 hours of advert) we are looking for our next camper.
Wife wants a rear L or U shaped lounge area - the Swift 590 lux is the style that fits the bill - there may be others - so given the
wealth of ownership experience there is on this forum any suggestions as to makes / models would be welcomed. Budget £14k max
Thanks all
