Hello - Im Carrie & have just bought a 1987 Transit autosleeper flair! I got it last week & have just got back from an overnight stay & day out with my other half & 3 terriers who love going out in the car! Having spent my early childhood on holidays in my parents caravan im quite used to camping, I mainly got the van as its hard to visit family (mine are in essex) with the dogs now we have 3, or find places to go on holiday with them so having our own place is so much easier.
My other half is a mechanic so the transit side of things are taken care of, but will need help with the camping extras like the heating etc!
Campy is a 2litre pinto which we're quite used to coming from a car rallying sport & this weekend we went up some very hilly parts of wales & it coped well.
Heres to many more weekends away dog walking allthumbz

Thanks everyone, so glad I found this place! - looking forward to getting out as much as we can after having a great time at the weekend & thinking of a name for campy hugegrins
Will look into how to post photos as we love that its very retro & looks good parked next to our Sierra on the drive up!
