Executive 2003 For Sale

We have decided to buy a newer AS motorhome so now have to sell our Executive. We are asking £17,000 but open to close offers. Have loved this van, been on average 6 trips a year in the UK since we’ve had it and its never let us down. Always had any work that was needed doing and the engine has always been serviced. Please look at the photos, as they say a picture paints a thousand words.
DETAILS; Autosleeper Executive, 2.8 litre Diesel engine, manual gear box, great condition, Monocoque body, only 34,217 miles. Full service history including a cambelt change in 2019, MOT Dec 2024. Well equipped end kitchen, 4 gas hob rings; separate oven; separate grill; 3-way fridge with freezer space and drinks cabinet above. All in one washroom with a shower, cassette flushing toilet, drop down basin with mirror and cupboard. Mid habitation you have the seating and sleeping area in the form of two very comfortable side facing double lounge seats, which have draws beneath them. There are storage cupboards in the kitchen, above the seats and above the cab, there is definitely no shortage of space. The centre area can be used as a dining area (6 people) using both large and small tables and within seconds the lounge seats transform into a large double bed or two singles. One of the main benefits you have with the rear kitchen layout is that whilst the beds are mage up as two singles, both can easily reach the washroom and kitchen area and not disturb anyone else sleeping in the motorhome. Also included is a two-camera system, rear view and reversing; solar panel system which charges the two leisure and engine batteries, blown air heating (gas or 240v), 2 sets of keys, electric windows, two gas bottles and fitted tow bar (we’ve never used it). Below is a brief list of work carried out since we bought the Executive in December 2017;
07/09/2023 12v and 240v elements, 12v switch, gas hose and service to fridge.
14/12/2022 new Trauma Ultraheat electric elements fitted and full service.
27/01/2022 replacement rear window and seal.
28/04/2021 new 2 way solar regulator, new hot water valve on boiler.
01/09/2020 full reupholstery of drivers, passengers, and bench seats, plus all interior by Regal Furnishing Ltd, Ilkeston.
25/04/2020 top led brake light replaced.
26/09/2019 new cambelt fitted (29079 miles) as part of full service.
30/08/2018 new Agilis motorhome tyres fitted (25891 miles).
19/02/2018 rear view and revising cameras fitted, supplied by REVCAMUK.
17/12/2018 new exhaust fitted.
Height 3m (9ft 10ins), Width 2.18m (7ft 2ins), Length 5.73m (18ft 10ins).

Maybe it's sold.
However if you need cash you may have to go to a dealer.
I expect the dealer price will be much lower.
How do I know this? A dealer will want 7 to 10 thousand below the selling price.

I bought a mh from SMC in Lincoln for about £65k. After a few weeks I decided the salesman had been very clever and showed me around it in what I think was a pre-planned way. In use we found the washroom was badly designed, so you had to leave the door open if you wanted to sit on the throne. I looked at their web site a few weeks later and saw exactly the same make, same length, same weight model at the same price but the model number had a different suffix at the end, meaning the layout was a bit different with a useable washroom. I went back and asked how much to change mine for it. I thought maybe £4k or £5k. No. They wanted, with a serious face, £15,000 to change from one model to another identical one other than a different washroom with the same kit in it.
I won't be going back there.
Actually I went somewhere else and was offered £10,000 more for the camper against the Bourton that I have now.

Thanks for the comments and interest. I have now sold our 2003 Executive.
Can someone tell me how to remove the advert or is that carried out at administrator level?
