Hello all, I purchased the above van last July, other than going to the local beach we have hardly use it. It needs TLC inside  to say the least but it has a good engine (banana I am told)  no idea how to use the inside things like the fridge/cooker/toilet etc. It has a big gas bottle and hooks up to mains electricity I believe.  Sadly rust has got hold of it underneath and various body spots.

I have read lots of comments on here and feel my original enthusiasm returning. I am handy with a needle but not so good at welding but I can make the most of the coming summer TLCing it!!

Ford Coachman is not an Auto-Sleeper model that I've ever heard of. There is an American RV by that name.
Perhaps you could post a photo.

Hi Prams. That doesn’t look like any Auto Sleeper I’ve ever seen but I’m willing to be proved wrong!

Although people with different makes of motorhome (like myself) are welcome on ASOF, it is essentially a forum for owners of the Auto Sleeper brand which means you won’t be likely to find specialised info here about other makes.

Good luck with your restoration project.

Thats a Duetto or possibly a copy of a Duetto. This is a genuine one, can you see subtle differences...

Window in black panel. Fridge vents. The rubber banding around the joint of roof to body.
It is possible that fittings changed over the years but a sure way to know if genuine is to look in glovebox for a label with job number written on.
