Agreed, IanH, will definitely return. Loved my long hike from Fuente De today but enough in the area to keep me busy for another week. V hot here atm, air con used for a non dog meal out!

Tip, if you do return, coming into Potes from the North, you'll pass the town supermarket on your left. Behind this is a huge car park, many use it as an unofficial aire.

Point being, now is the time to both do shopping in the supermarket, but also, as the van is parked as long as you like, the ideal time for a lap of Potes itself.

In that way you don't either have to walk both ways from the site or, worse, carry a load of shopping back up the hill!!

Yes, Lupa, stopped there twice now. Great location but not as good as the free aire in Las Arenas ie flat, grass and shade :-)
