I tried these on my Bourton and I was not pleased with them at all and the parts look hand finished and not at all consistent. The method of mounting  doesn't  look good at all. In the end I couldn't get them to fit to my satisfaction and sent them back. The company is very good with customer service and I got a full refund.
On the Mercedes Sprinter, mirror parts are quite cheap, so it's not a major expense like the fiat based MH's at around £500 for a replacement, if you break one.
There is a previous post by me, I think in 2019 with pictures of their mirror guards in place.

a bourton is the same cab as a my winchcombe - mercedes so why not take a look at the rather blingy covers i bought for mine a while ago - perfect fit and very obvious to oncoming traffic - a good thing as so far i have lost 3 mirrors to french drivers who think the middle of a country road is for their sole use.. look here

I have now received the Kuda mirror protectors for my 2015 Bourton. They are bright yellow, good quality and although I have yet to fit finally I have tried them and they appear to fit very well. So let’s see if they work.

I had never heard of this company until the other day, so far they don't list Mercs but maybe a future addition to their range....

Slightly off topic but can I just remind people how important it is to keep the mechanism on these mirrors well greased. I bought a new mirror cover as a spare and despite having been clipped several times the cover is still in the box. The mirror simply folded as it should without any damage each time. up!

What sensible advice and so obvious too.  I can’t believe I’ve not even thought about it before.  We’ve only had our Bourton eight years!  I’m going out there today with the grease gun.  Thank you so much for posting.

Thanks Jimmee
I use a marine quality grease, in my case evinrude as I had some left from the boat, it doesn't wash out and lasts ages. Also great for things like the drop down corner steadies and nuts on the spare wheel carrier!

On the hinges so they fold in easily.

Thank you Groundhog.  Most helpful.  Not been out there to grease the hinges yet due to the weather but next job on the list so will report back.  Mrs Jimmee.

thanks for that info, when i bought my winchcombe a few months ago ( my first merc) i noticed the mirror was out of alignment and had to push it very hard and was worried it would snap off, now i know its SUPPOSED to do that .. phew.. its obviously not been lubed for years. having experienced the french and their love of driving down the middle of a country road i have had to replace two very expensive fiat mirrors at 300 quid a pop. I had a young couple once totally destroy a mirror who were so upset by their casual driving they walked back down the lane to recover my smashed to pieces mirror and proffered it to me like a prize pig or grand offering bow
as its seized almost solid at a guess i will wd40 it till i can get it to move more willingly and then try to get some grease in there - yes ?

You may be better off freeing it with something like plusgas penetrating oil or a similar product designed to free seized nuts and bolts rather than WD40. While you are at it spray the drop down legs at the back and the spare wheel carrier fastening then liberally cover them with grease once working.
Great van the Winchcombe isn't it, so comfortable up!

I tried to get mirror protectors for my 21 bourton, its now two arm mirrors and not the single arm of previous models .will look at putting silicon spray to ease movement.

I would really recommend using a good grease as silicone spray although better than nothing will not last.
