I never owned a Ford car until we bought a cheap Fiesta to replace managements Polo but I drove various size and shape Transits for work before the Duetto and the current Rienza.
It was a bit of a surprise when I was given a twin wheel petrol engined 190 and trailer for breakdown work. That was gutless and thirsty but it lasted three years pounding up the motorways day in day out.
