Habitation Step Empty Habitation Step

My habitation step (2013 Broadway) operates randomly when on site and connected to electric hook up. It happens at approximately 5am though not exactly at this time every day. This would indicate, to me, a software glitch but wonder if anyone else has experienced a similar issue? Is there a way to reset the step aspect of the software?
