The original brand as shown is no longer available but Milenco have taken it over and is available from them. I have the same one listed on ebay and can say how heavy and substantial it is. There are 2 for sale on ebay.

I had the Disklok medium fit. Covers the whole steering wheel and you can buy a protective sleeve for the steering wheel too.  Very visible and heavy duty. Also bought one for the new merc (small).very please with it.

Disklok is recommended by me also.  They are not the cheapest but are very secure.  The bar type devices are not as secure as the lowlifes can cut the steering wheel to remove it.

Yes you could Paul but most tealeaves like to steal things as quietly as possible.

So a steering bar will do same job (and the one linked above requires 2 cuts of steering wheel.)

Thanks for all your help. Eventually opted for the Milenco 512 - £75 on Amazon.  Seems to me to be the best comprise of strength and visible deterrent

Thanks for the info but I have already bought 1 at £72.99 granted an extra few quid but have got peace of mind
