Can you help me find a supplier
I saw the setup pictured below on site but had to leave before the owner returned.
I'm interested in this exactly as its is, same tripod, same top swivel and same aerial. I'm not interested in alternative suggestions. I've searched and can find a similar aerial but not the complete installation as a set but I know several member are very good at finding things?

The two I mentioned look identical mounts on back , that's why I asked if tripod may be totally separate.IanH wrote:Theres a Selfsat on Amazon with identical mount on rear of the aerial

Hi
Looks a very neat set up doesn’t it?
Assuming it is a TV receiver and not an internet setup:
From the info on the web the the “Selfsat” looks identical apart from the position of the output socket. We don’t know how old the setup in the picture is so the layout may have changed slightly.
I too suspect that the tripod was obtained separately. Assuming Peter want’s to emulate the setup I don’t see this as a problem because there are dozens of similar tripods available.
Why not send the picture to Satellite Superstore ( and other suppliers) to see if they know what it is? They’ve probably seen more satellite gear than any of us and may be able to put something suitable together.
I’d be interested in what you find, I wouldn’t mind investing in something similar myself.

Re: Can you help me find a supplier
Thanks for the feedback.
The Chap was on his own with a new Range Rover and Teardrop Caravan so I strongly suspect he bought it as a package, I did hope to make contact with him but circumstances prevented that.
I've had a manually adjusted flat dish on the roof of the van for nine years but the mechanism has expired and the system is no longer available. We are leaving the installation in place for cosmetic reasons inside the van but I may remove and utilise the 'dish'. There are plenty of tripods available but is the top mount and adjustment points that make it all work.
I will do as Brod suggested but will also be grateful if anything else pops up.

That's the one I, too, PeterL, found but couldn't find it again. Looks very close to me, or, if me wanting it, certainly near enough!!
