Hello

Just bought a 2004 Nuevo and saw it has a TV Ariel outlet plug hole. Plugged in the TV did Auto tune and it picked up over 70 digital channels. I was pleased but surprised as I could not see an Ariel on top. Is there perhaps one built into the roof

Thanks

Dennis and her indoors

On my 2006 Nuevo there was a directional aerial. The post came into the wardrobe here you could higher and lower the aerial and turn it to point to transmitter. Maybe earlier vans had an omnidirectional aerial . These look like flying saucers and don't need to be turned as they pick up signals from all directions.

If it is a flying saucer, and, in Suffolk, it's amazing it found anything!
We use mifi, tv etc all over the place and recently in Suffolk found the ideal location for hate electronics gurus!
Pubstop, no tv, no mifi, no phone!! First time ever!
Not too bad recently at Aldeburgh tho..........

Update I don’t think it has a tv ariel fitted But just a coiled up cable and I think I picked up the channels on that. For now I have just picked up a little magnetic ariel from Amazon. I watch a lot of tv over the internet and I have a small mobile router so will see how I get on with that set up

Google MOONRAKER TV AERIAL.
Best Ive ever had, has built in amp, powered from your cig lighter.
I have mine on an extending pole, extending wash brush handle!,  held to cab with 2 x rubber coated magnets. 2 min fit/remove.
Only place ever failed was Suffolk!!!

You probably can but AS have a long and poor history re co-ax wiring.
As my aerial is removed every trip, I simply feed its co-ax through a cab window and plug it straight into the TV.
Simplicity, always best!!!
