Can anyone advise please ?

When I turn the vu Qube II sat finder off the the Avtex tv in the bedroom will still show all channels, however the Avtex tv in the lounge displays no signal. I would rather this was the other way round as I could then watch the tv in the lounge without the sat box being turned on, this would save power when off grid. 
Does anyone now why this happens and a possible way to change this ?

You appear to have 2 separate Acted TVs. If that is so are they the same model? I upgraded my 16" Acted to one with HD and satellite so it doesn't need a box for satellite. (it still needs a dish!). It may be that the lounge set has no built in satellite tuner.

Not sure if it applies, but occasionally Avtex update software, I phoned then and they talked me through the update and sent me a file to load onto a usb stick..

This was because I hade used other satellites and my default station list had gone rear end up

Both tv’s are Avtex and have built in tuners, the VuQube control box is just the sat finder for the dish. Interesting what you say Ray about other satellites as I have also tuned to others while having a play with the system, I’ll check the default station list.
