Anne Glasgow wrote:Hello all, just thought I would post an update on my previous welcome as a new member. If I should have posted this elsewhere, please let me know and apologies in advance!

Since I last posted, I've still been unable to purchase anything and I just missed what I thought might be a nice Van to get me through the summer, with the option of trading it in next year, or selling it to get some money back towards a newer van. I'm recovering from a leg injury and unable to get around as I'd like to right now, so I've been restricted on where I can buy or see a van that would suit my needs. I'm also only able to work two days a week at present due to my leg injury, so I've had to rethink my finances and commitment to costs etc.

Should I buy old and cheap now or hold off until next year for something newer and miss out on some good times just now confused3

Anne

Hi Anne

Hope your leg injury gets better soon... if I were you I think I would hold off until next year as you may get a slightly newer model for similar money as you would for an older model now, and it will hopefully give you additional time to sort your finances and concentrate on getting back to normal with your health.

Hi CruzIng Comet, thanks for the reply. It makes good financial sense. I'm just so jealous when I read all the welcome statements of the new members and I wish I was on the road! What's another summer eh?

Thanks Anne

Hi Anne,   Hope you got yourself a van...   I bought my autosleeper a few months ago hoping to use it when working as a volunteer at the Glasgow Games.  However, I'm having no luck at all with finding somewhere to put it for the 10 nights.....    Have you any suggestions   Mags
